Rating: Summary: Amazing........ Simply Amazing Review: I just finished "Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire", and it left me breathless. Rowling's cleverness catches me by surprise every time. She uses something that you might have overlooked in the beginning as a key ingredient to stew up a sharp kick at the end of the story. The way everything comes together in the end is simply marvelous. Every detail is described in a way so you can feel the story come to life while you are reding it. Harry Potter is such a wonderful and splendid book, I think everyone should read it! (and on a special note to J.K. Rowling-- keep up the good work!)
Rating: Summary: A classic for the ages -- J.K. Rowling does it again! Review: I just finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night, and was mesmerized through all 734 pages of it! My niece Gail Dornenburg, who turned me on to the Harry Potter series in August 1999, finished reading the copy of Book 4 I sent her as a gift via Amazon.com the weekend it came out -- but I've enjoyed savoring this very special book these past few weeks. I love everything from the characters to my newly-expanded vocabulary --and believe J.K. Rowling's imagination has got to be the Eighth Wonder of the World! Bravo!
Rating: Summary: Inventive Review: I admit that I started reading to see what all the hype was about. But after reading the first two, I decided to buy all four. I thought that all of the Harry Potter books were very imaginative and fun. J.K. Rowling weaves a story about a magical place that I'm sure the readers would like to visit. I know that I would have loved the series as a child. The best part is seeing all of the children reading again. As I was recently walking into our vets carrying a Harry Potter book, I heard an excited child whispering to his Mother that I had the book. It was very cute.
Rating: Summary: Wonderous as always Review: J. K. Rowling has once again amazed us all with her 4th book. The Harry Potter books have been called a phenomenon, and quite correctly! If there were any doubts about Rowling's creativity or authoring abilities, they hav now been laid tpo rest as she continues to mesmerize her readers. This year at Hogwarts is filled with exiting new ideas (that I won't give away) that prevent her books freom becoming routine. She developes her charachters masterfully and at the end of the book, you just be wanting more. Very Excellent!
Rating: Summary: Potter's getting Hotter Review: J.K. Rowling did it again with book #4, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are back with brand new fun and exciting(and sometimes scary) adventures. I strongly recommend this book to any one who is looking for a good read. The book starts out kind of slow and for the 4th book you have no idea what they're talking about. But the book gets up to speed very quickly and you're right there next to Harry with the Dursleys, on the train, in Quidditch, at Hogwarts, and in all of his adventures. If you haven't, you might want to read the first 3 books before you start this one. Join Harry, Ron, and Hermione and READ THIS BOOK!
Rating: Summary: HARRY POTTER 4 IS THE BEST YET! Review: "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is the best Harry Potter book yet, out of all the four books yet in the seven-book series. It is by far the darkest book in the series yet. And it has a lot more violence than the first three books. But, it is funny, exciting, action-packed, and very interesting. Even though, it took me A WHOLE MONTH to read the 734-page novel by J.K. Rowling. I recommend this book to any Harry Potter fan. Trust me, you'll love it.
Rating: Summary: For the fourth time, Harry Potter is the best! Review: I got the book in the first week and read it within two days. After I finished the book, I read it again. Though I have read many great books, the Harry Potter books are my favorites ever. The fourth book is just as good (if not better) than the others. Though the book goes semi- slowly until Harry gets to Hogwarts, the books still seems far less than its 734 pages because it's so interesting. I'm not going to say anything about the plot but for any Harry Potter fans, just pick up the book and read it, now! I can't wait for the 5th one.
Rating: Summary: Calling all Harry Potter Fans! Review: We all love Harry Potter! I agree. There's no limit to age. There's a problem after all 7 what are we suppose to do? That's why I an saying when you first sit down to read take time because there's not more left! Also don't you agree Hermione Granger is having lots of bad days?
Rating: Summary: Slow Beginning,Supspenseful Ending=Great Book Review: This book has a slow beginning, it takes a while until J.K. Rowling gives out any action. The ending is very unspected but great. I would say that this book tops the rest.
Rating: Summary: One Great Book Review: This was one really great book. My brother and i had to share the book so i didnt get to finish it until the monday after it came out. I like all of the harry potter books a lot but i think i like this one the best. It also lasted me longer than the other books so that was better too (i read chamber of secrets in 2 hours the first time i read it). I have read the first book 12 times the second one 6 times and the third book 7 times so i guess u could call me a harry potter fanatic. Everything i do is about harry potter. I think about him i talk about him and i dream about him. So i reccomend this book to any of the few people who havent read it already.
