Summary: Better then the rest
Review: Have you noticed that in this series, the second book was better then the first, and the third was better then the first two? I was worried that the fourth book wouldn't quite follow the tradition. (I mean, 700 PAGES) but boy was I wrong. This is the best one in the series. J K Rowling has kept me on the edge of my chair from the first chapter (a VERY good hooker) to the last sentence. (it isn't quite a cliff hanger ending - its more like he fell off the cliff, then landed safely on a ledge)

Summary: A Good Book, Better Than A Tree Grows In Brooklyn
Review: This book is better than A Tree Grows In Brooklyn. That was a good book but Harry Potter books in general are fantastic.

I realize everyone has his or her own opinion, although I still believe J.K Rowling has created literary masterpieces. These books will become classics someday soon.

The books are worth all the hype.

My favorite characters are Ginny Weasley, Dumbledore, Hagrid, Professor McGonagall, and Mrs. Weasley. My least favorite character is Snape.

I finished the book in three days and it was excellent

Summary: A worthy sequel!
Review: Book 4 is terrific---with all the elements that made 1-3 so popular, it's sure to delight Harry Potter fans, no matter what their ages (I happen to be 30, and my 40 year old brother is a fan, too)! As far as the length of the book is concerned, I didn't notice it at all... I breezed through the book quickly (neglecting my required reading for college classes)and am ready to reread the whole series again. Congrats to Ms. Rowling for another wonderful read; I can't wait for #5.

Summary: Harry Potter Rip Off
Review: This is a book for 9-year-old kids? I think not! Murder, violence, and more murder, even a son killing his father? How sad that the author had to turn to the violence to sell her story instead of sticking with great imagination and fun.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire(Book 4)
Review: My 14 yr old son and I waited all year for the release of this new book and it was well worth the wait! I must warn readers of the the fact that there are three uses of the word damn and one use of the phrase "What the hell" but they were all well within the context of the writing and were not at all offensive. I don't understand what all the brouhaha is about these books being in any way demonic or referring to the occult. That's all a bunch of Hogwarts if you ask me.

Summary: commenting on the best book in the Harry Potter series
Review: When I started this book, I was worried that it would not be very adventurous like the last three books. But... WAS I WRONG. With the Triwizard Tournament, the Quidditch world Cup, and most of all, Voldemort's return... it was about all the adventure that I could handle! I hope that everyone that reads it enjoys it as much as I did.

Summary: The Best
Review: The Goblet of Fire and the other Harry Potter books are the best books I have ever read. I love to read and I finished this book within 3 days. Her other books are fantastic but this one is superior! The way she describes the characters and the scenes make me wish it were a real place and they were real people. All I will tell you is that Harry finds someone he really likes, someone dies, and everything is not as it seems. It may be a little hard to understand if you have not read the book but wait until you read it. The peices will all fall into place. J.K Rowling has a awesome imagination and I can not wait until number 5 comes out! Get your moneys worth and get Harry Potter!

Summary: 'Goblet' directed toward an older crowd
Review: I read this book and enjoyed it. The plot was as riveting as the first three, and all new characters were unique and interesting. I did, however, dislike the use of the "D word", and the romantic interludes that happened in the book. I would encourage parents to not allow children under 10 to read this without supervision.

Summary: The Best Harry Potter Book so far!
Review: After Prisoner of Azkaban, I thought J.K. Rowling would have reached her peak. Wrong! Goblet of Fire is easily the most creative and enjoyable book of the bunch. The characters are more developed and new and fascinating individuals are introduced (e.g. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody). The chapters concerning "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" might be scary for younger children so take caution. I'm an adult fan of Harry Potter books and I can't get enough of them. I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment:)

Summary: Flawed, but still a 5 star effort
Review: This book is not quite as satisfying as books 1, 2, and 3. (I thought 2 better than 1 and 3 better than 2.) This is for three reasons. Most importantly, the 20 pages in which the book reaches its climax is going to frighten the younger members of the core audience. It's like a Stephen King novel for those 20 pages. Additionally, I found the first 150 pages or so annoying because, although I suppose necessary, they delayed the characters from getting to Hogswart's. Finally, be warned this book doesn't come to a satisfactory conclusion like the first 3 -- things are left very much "in progress".
