But don't go past the chapter after the Third Task in the dark! (Shivers) Sssscccarrryyyy, tis!

But spread it out as long as possible! There's a cliffhanger, and you have to wait real long to find out what happens next! You wonder what happened to all those people Dumbledore. . . If Dumble-er-Fudge will. . . Didn't seem to willing in Chamber of Secrets. . . I hope not, but then we will. . . New Character. . .

Summary: DON'T SKIP THIS ONE
Review: A lot of reviews I've seen on this site say "stripe all the bad words with a black marker and write another word". Really, how stupid is that? Ms. Rowling is saying that as people get older, they get expanded diolague and even though Moody says some and others, I don't think it's bad. I've also seen that there's too much violence. I've been thinking, "OK, you won't let your kids see PG movies". Sure, it's dark with the big fight with You-Know-Who and Harry and with Mr. Crouch and everything. But the books is really good.

The Yule ball is the best part because of everything. However, it's like the last book, they say "fourth years and older" and Hogsmeade "third years and older". In this book, you find out a little more about the sorting hat. You find out why Hagrid is so big. Somebody dies (I won't say who, except it's a pretty minor character). And, probably, the best part is Harry and his girlfriend, named Cho Chang. Thought it's the longest, it's the best.

Summary: This Book Be Da Bomb
Review: This book, I think, is one or J.K's best works. I like how she includes memories from the other books as humours inside jokes in this the fourth book. Like all the books they leave you on a cliff hanging note making you want to read the next book asap. This is a great book to just let your mind go and your imagination sore. This book is a wonderful addition to the series and great for young and old alike. If J.K. Rowling is to read this I have one thing to say to her: Keep up the good work, and if it's not too much trouble, can you hurry up on the fifth book?

Summary: Harry Potter 4 will make you foam at the mouth for more...
Review: Harry's new exploites are cool. He must servive 3 triwizard tornament tasks, and face Lord Voldemort, who has a reserected body, wich includes some of Harry's blood! Hermonie falls in love (not with Harry) as does Hagrid. If you having read it, or don't have it, buy it right now!

Summary: Move over War and Peace, here comes Goblet of Fire!
Review: Hi, my name is Christine and I'm a Harry Potter addict. By now, isn't there supposed to be a Harry Potter's Anonymous (HPA) of some sorts? I'm not alone in this addiction, I'm sure. There is a quiet understanding amongst all of us HP fans. A little boy looks over at me on the No. 1 train and screams "I read that one! I can't wait to read Harry Potter one gazillion and four!". A middle aged woman peers over from my right with a small smirk on her face and a Prisoner of Azkaban on her lap. Goblet of Fire is excellent and testifies to Rowling's great imagination and talent, BUT BLIMELY, WHY IS IT LONGER THAN WAR AND PEACE! Mrs. Rowling, please we beg of you to make the fifth one no bigger than our encyclopedias. My shoulders will thank you very much.

Summary: A book that will be remembered, FOREVER!
Review: Harry Potter's fourth book is the best of them all. Once you start reading it, you can't stop. If you don't have it, I reccommend that you purchase this book right here right now on amazon.com .If you don'tt know who Harry Potter is then I suggest that you start reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone(Sorcerer's Stone), the 1st book.

Summary: A different normalness
Review: Like the other books in the series one gets caught up in the magical world until it seems as though Harry's world IS the normal world! By the fourth book (read the first three first) we are familiar with the terms and know the characters, so Rowlling is free to add all sorts of new information and plot twists. It's also a more serious book that does not shy away from pain, loneliness and as everyone knows - death. The appeal for adults is in the clever use of common terms and knowledge, to create a new and fresh outlook on what just might be! BTW the illustrations by Grandpre in the US Scholastic edition (cover and inside) are by far better than the UK Bloomsbury one.

Summary: Rowling's magic is back in the best Harry Potter yet!
Review: Only words like "stunning", "wonderful", and "gripping" can describe J.K. Rowling's latest masterpiece. This 4th book in her 7 part Harry Potter series is by far her best, most action packed, riviting novel to date. Harry's world is presented in vivid detail, as we have come to expect from Rowling, and not a chapter goes by that doesn't leave the reader wanting more. Follow Harry, Ron, and Hermione to another year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and hold on for the ride of your life. New friends, bolder enemies, and thrilling twists and turns leave the reader searching for pieces of a grand and marvelous puzzle which Rowling has so expertly created. This book takes us into a world so inventive that it parallels C.S. Lewis's "Narnina" as well as Lewis Carroll's "Wonderland". For both young and old alike, this book (along with its three predecessors) reminds us of the magic of childhood and the hero in us all. Harry Potter fans: this book both satisfies and leaves you wanting more at the same time - a sign of an excellent author. It's a must read for anyone who has followed Harry this far. And if you haven't met Harry yet, I suggest looking for him in his cupboard...he'll be waiting for you there.

Summary: The Magic of the Goblet of Fire
Review: Rowling has made fiction look like fact,or is it fact that we think is fiction? This white nuckel ride goes from un-loving relatives to a witchcraft and wizarding school where the dynamic trio(Harry, Hermione and Ron) find secrets lurking in every human soul. This book is different than any of the others in the series, but in a way a lot better. If you like fiction, you will love Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire, and I encourage you to read it.

Summary: Under the Harry Potter Spell
Review: I am a 43 year old elementary teacher and I have to say that I am under the Harry Potter spell! I have read all four of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter books and anxiously await each new one. Once you start to read these books, you fall into a fantasy world unlike any other in print today! I am an avid reader of children's literature as well as adult literature and the Harry Potter series are among my favorite. I highly suggest all teachers to read these books, then read them to your students! Any adult, as well as a child, who enjoys children's literature will surely enjoy these books!
