Summary: Zip Zip Zip!
Review: I am 13 yrs old and I read alot. (My parents use the word viracously). I'm not bragging, just stating facts, but I read this book in two days because it was so good! But, besides Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire(Book Four) my favorite book in the series was Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets(Book Two). I really enjoy the Harry Potter books and I will read them all again and again!

Summary: Wow!
Review: My brother has this book and after he was finished reading it, I read it also. This book is not just for kids. It is witty, interesting, enchanting, enthralling, the list could go on and on and on! I thought that it was amazingly well-written with perfect plot and character development. J.K. Rowling is an outstanding author. No matter what your age, BUY THIS BOOK!

Summary: It was Ok
Review: I used to like these books a whole lot more. But as we advance in the series, the books get longer, and more boring. Tip #1 for JK Rowling: Focus on book, NOT bulk. Even though this book was 700 pages long, most of the book was incredibly boring. For awhile, I couldn't focus on the book.

Another error is character development. First of all, Harry. Harry is a born superstar/celebrity, everyone looks up to him. Harry takes advantage of this by breaking rules and disrespecting fans. Colin, who looks up to him in the second book, what does Harry do? Harry acts like Colin is some kind of putrid slug. Harry always gets out of trouble just because he is famous. I mean, when Harry breaks rules, he gets REWARDED for it! Second, slytherins in general. WHy do they all have to be ugly as well as mean? We all get the point that some of them are bad, but why do they have to all be failures? And all the Slytherin girls have to be ugly and fat and have squished faces? Not fair.

I was also disapointed that Harry always has to do more then he is asked for. Why does he have to save all of the people in the second task? This is called the Superman syndrom.

J.K. Rowling has shown a significant lack of description. I'm ten and I can write a better description! She has used the phrase "twinkiling eyes" at least three times.

This was an Ok book, but not in the leauge of great fantasy books such as: The Hobbit, The Dark is Rising series, The Secret of platform 13, The Chronicles of Narnia, etc. Please keep this in mind!

*One good thing* Harry Potter gets kids to read more, which is an ecellent quality. I also liked the first chapter because it gave a diffrent view of a character BESIDES Harry Potter.

Summary: The Famous Boy You Will Never Froget.
Review: All the Harry Potter's books from sequel 1 to 3 are just great and I'll never forget a single bit about it.The fourth one was very very exciting, amazing and just the best. I think it is the best book I've ever read until now. The next outcome of the other books will be amazing ,I am sure of it.

Summary: Truly Extraordinary
Review: Ms. Rowling delivers her most well-written of the Harry Potter series thus far. I enjoyed this book immensely, and will reread it many more times. I would reccommend this book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire because of it's intricate details and plotline. In Harry's 4th year at Hogwarts, he is faced with much more than the more than unusual staff members and diffucult assignments, Harry is also faced with a tournament aptly named The Triwizard Cup, of which Harry is extremely overwhelmed. This particular installment is so enthralling to me, as a child, because of the darker tone of this novel that adds more maturity and depth than the previously (wonderful) happy-go-lucky humorously written books. Again, I recommend this book for the reasons that it is wonderfully written and enthralling, for all ages. Bravo to Rowling! However, the only critisicm I have is the fact that I have to wait for the 5th novel!

Summary: How long do we have to wait for more Harry?
Review: I am the 27 year old who asked (in relation to the first Harry instalment) if it is pathetic for someone my age to love these books so much. I have had many responses from people who have stated emphatically, "NO WAY! " J.K. Rowling has created a character who appeals to all of us, youngies and oldies. I spent 3 days in Harry's world culminating in the spectacularly large fourth instalment that kept me rivetted and awake and reading until 4.30 in the morning, after which I spent an hour crying because I have to wait so long for instalment number 5. I can't reccommend these books enough. I have already got my friends hooked on this and my aged aunt is currently reading them all again, for the FOURTH time! It has been a long time since someone has written such entertaining and enjoyable books. Hopefully J.K. Rowling wont be the last.

Summary: I LOVE Harry Potter!
Review: My hat is off to J. K. Rowling. These books are wonderfully written, the stories keep us captivated! I cannot wait for the next installment of Harry and his adventures. These books are great for kids, adults, everyone! (and I am fussy!)

Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Review: J.K. Rowling's 4th book was an amazing, suspenseful book that kept me up till midnight reading - wanting to know more of the story. When I finished the book, I got an urge to read the next book - know more. This is why I believe J.K. Rowling is a really good author and I can wait untill the 5th book coes out!
