The feeling being next to Harry Potter fighting for his life fills my holidays and imagination. I stongly suggest this book to all you people out there, young or old. THANK YOU JOANNE ROWLING AND KEEP ON WRITING !A fan :)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: More please... Review: My 11 year old hasn't had it quite a month yet, and she's about 400 pages into it. I probably slowed her down by stealing the book to read it myself! Twice! This is by far the more serious of the 4 Harry Potter books, touching on issues of social conscience, integrity, courage, and, ...well, girls. Harry after all is 14 now and kids DO grow up, don't they... The imagination and wise understanding of kids and adults alike have made these books thoroughly enjoyable. In "Goblet" it seems to me that Rowlings is beginning to hit her stride as an author. Where there was some clumsiness in the first books both with use of words and a bit of strained credibility in the plots, this installment seems to have a smoother flow, hangs together better. We eagerly anticipate that delivery from Amazon on the release of number 5!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Dazzling Book Review: Hi, I am eleven years old and currently reading "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and it is a dazzling book! Wonderful beyond words, this treasure chest of witty words contains everything from flying leprechans to dragons. Rowling is one of the best authors ever, a master at gripping the reader right from the first page and holding the suspence throughout the story. Her plots are intricate and surprising; they never cease to amaze me. Just when you think you've figured something out, BANG!, another one of those darn plot twists and you never know what hit you. Another one of Rowling's skills is making the characters seem so real I feel like I'm friends with them! In fact, when I think about something, it's Ron Weasley's voice I hear giving me advice! This amazing author can somehow get you to love the good guys as much as she can get you to hate the villains. Don't let anyone tell you anything bad about this book-it is a masterpiece, like all the others in the Harry Potter series. I only wish I could like Rowling. Sometimes I think she must be a witch herself to write so well!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Absolutely fascinating! Review: I've been a Harry Potter fan for over a year now, but I was a little unsure about buying the fourth book, due to all of the media hype connected to the release date, etc. I mean, could it really be as good as they were making it out to be? However, even though the hype was incredible, the actual book is even more incredible. It's easy to see why so many people, and such different types of people, enjoy reading about Harry. The books are all extremely well written, and The Goblet of Fire is no exception. The plot twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. Our family read this book out loud, and we finished it after only about a week of reading several chapters a day. I think we read seven or eight chapters on the last night, because we just couldn't put it down until we finished it! I won't spoil the plot for any of you who haven't read it yet -- just get started today!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: I orginally bought this book as a gift for my girlfriend, then had the opportunity to read it myself. It was greatly entertaining, and without even reading the first three books in the series, I found it very easy to follow. Though classified as a "children's book", I would recommend this book for all ages. But don't take my word for it, go and read it!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Disappointing! Review: My husband and I have loved the Harry Potter books. We were disappointed with this last one. There was too much swearing for a children's book, as well as too many graphic details that a child under 13 should not be reading. Otherwise we liked the book, but we would have loved it if the swearing and gruesome details had been left out. After all this is a childrens book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: great! Review: i think all of the books r great, the 3rd being my fave! i like the ending better. but i thought this one was great 2, i thought it wuz good cause the have death, and happiness, and everything. it showed how harry had matured through out the books. the only thing is, is the fact that every year at hogwarts, they have him meet "you-know-who" and have some frightning adventure. its kinda odd, but then again i like it.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Hmmmmmm Review: I own all 4 of the Harry Potter books, and while this one was good it wasn't the best. It certainly had an interesting plot, but there was something missing. I was espically disappointed that there was no Quidditch. And it was llllooooonnnnngggg. Don't get me wrong, I read a lot and luv a long book, but this just went on and on. Plus, I thought that the whole idea of the three trials was stupid; you would think that Harry would pick up info about the wizard trial at school, but he only learns things on a need-to-know basis. Like I said, good but not the best.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: OUTSTANDING Review: A wonderful book. In the beginning Rowling takes us to the Quidditch World Cup,where Harry sees how the professionals play the game. After that, it's off to school. When he gets there, he learns that there will be no Quidditch games this year. Instead there will be a Triwizard competition that he can't even enter. You can imagine his surprise when his name is chosen to compete! It is great story telling by a great author. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I did.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The BEST book in the series so far! Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the greatest book in the world! It's the most exciting one so far and it's the darkest and most suspenseful. With Voldemort back, who knows what will happen in the following books. I'd recommend this book to EVERYONE! It's the thickest and the most exciting so far. I can't wait for book 5! Who can!
