Summary: OH COME ON...
Review: The 4th Harry Potter is better then 1-3. One Thing: if your going to read it, try an appreciate the detail of the book. That's one reason why it's long, and another reason that makes it so great. It is packed full of comedy, excitement, and just pure fun. You wanna know why Harry's always the hero? Would the book be to exciting if he wasn't? This book is almost made to be a fantasy biography, so don't expect too much about the other people, like Ron and Hermione. Another great thing is that Rowling has rules for her characters. They can't get mad and shoot beams out of their hands or something. In this book magic has rules just like the "Muggle" world.

Summary: Harry still rules, but ....
Review: I need to start by saying that I read the book cover to cover in one sitting, without so much as a food break. At the same time, I was not as excited about this book as the others. Then again, I am comparing this Harry to the other Harrys - a tough act to follow ! I know that the books are getting "darker", but I miss the humor and some of the crazy situations of the first three. Harry is aging, but come on, some of the funniest people on this planet are 14 years old - they do some pretty bizarre things. There were sections that I wondered why they would be included - I hope they have some purpose in future books.

These books do appeal to a wide range of readers. I have and will continue to recommend these books to friends (20s,30s,40s) and my students (middle school). I hope that there is the same variety of people waiting in line with me at the bookstore for number 5, but I'm not sure that will happen.

Summary: Wow!
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire was a fun book to read. I have been keeping up with the series and find it a series that you can curl up and sink into. I just recently finished the fourth book and it was hard to put down. The story is full of suspense and excitment. I would recommend this book to any child or adult having a hard time reading. Once you start you never will want to finish.

Summary: Rowling magics up yet another fantastic Potter tale!
Review: So sighs of relief all round, eh? I won't deny my expectations for this book were slightly lower than for those precipitating them; I'll be the first to eat my hat for my trespass! But the consumption of a hat is a small price to pay compared to the distress I would surely have suffered had "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" been the dire let-down I so wrongly foretold it to be. The source of my fears was a statement author JK Rowling made some time ago, something along the lines of "The next Potter book'll be a bit evil. Oh, and I'm killing someone while I'm at it. An innocent, of course." This fourth installment in the fantastic saga is doubtless darker than its those gone before it, yes, but it suffers none: author JK Rowling embraces realism over escapism with The Goblet of Fire, but her fiery wit - arguably what made the Potter books such a success in the first place - remains steadfast. And with the darker tone, there's no excuse for us adults to pass this one off as "kids' stuff". If you haven't done so already, buy yourself a copy of this - and prepare for a good few nights of unbridled enjoyment!

Summary: Another Great One...
Review: I just finished Harry 4 a day ago. What a terrific book! I especially loved that instead of the Quidditch match this year, there was what I called the "Olympics" (the challenges with the kids from the other schools). I had read some of the "spoilers" so I was anticipating certain things and even with that, Rowling surprised me! I cant wait for the next one...which will hopefully come out in a matter of months! Quite a few cliffhangers....

Summary: excuse me but this a great book!
Review: For your information i happen to like this book,A ten-year old reader from USA. This book IS about Harry Potter. Not someone else like Colin. All he does is just annoy harry. Harry does not want to be famous. Anyway, I just LOVED this book I couldn't put it down.

I reccomend this book to everyone.

Summary: A great book!:)
Review: This is an excellent book. A must read. But of course you should read books 1-3 first because they are just as good and you will get the fourth book better.

Summary: J.K. Rowling is my master
Review: J.K. Rowling is a literary crack dealer, and I'm hooked on her stuff. I started reading the first Harry Potter exactly 1 week ago and I'm now finishing the Goblet of Fire. I've been taking my time with this one because I know I won't get another fix for a year, but the pull is too strong. MUST FINISH BOOK.... This is the best one yet, even though I haven't fully finished it. I hope all of her future HP books are as long or longer than this one, because I think she's free to go into more detail and introduces more characters with a longer book. Harry Potter V 10,000 pages :)

Summary: THE BEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN
Review: OUT OF ALL THE HARRY POTTER BOOKS I WOULD HAVE TO SAY HARRY HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE WAS THE BEST.YEA 734 PAGES IS ALOT BUT AFTER YOUVE READ THE BOOK YOU WISH IT WAS LONGER.ONE PERSON I KNOW STARTED TO READ THE 4TH BOOK WHEN HE HADNT EVEN FINISHED THE 1ST BOOK.THAT I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND.BUT J.K.ROWLING DID AN EXELANT JOB WRITING THE BOOK.FOR EXAMPLE LIKE HOW SHE USES SUCH GOOD DISCRIPTION IN THE BOOK IT MAKES ME WISH IT WAS REAL.BUT I AGREE WITH ALOT OF THE REVIEWS THAT THE FOURTH BOOK IS ALOT DARKER THAN THE OTHER BOOKS,BUT THAT MAKES THE BOOK SO MUCH BETTER.BUT WHEN IS THE 5 COMING.I READ THE 4TH BOOK IN 1DAY BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD.I COULDNT PUT IT DOWN.BUT I THINK THERE SHOULD BE MORE THAN7BOOKS.BUT A BIT OF ADVICE TO SOMEONE WHOS ABOUT TO READ IT.FINSH THE BOOKS THE 1ST THREE BOOKS FIRST.I READ THE 1ST THREE 4TIMES EACH BECAUSE THEY WERE GOOD TO.

Summary: GREAT BOOK
Review: This book is such a great book. It doesn't promote violence or any satanic stuff. This book, compared to King's books, is not gruesome at all. Yes, it gets a little darker and has a bit of tensoin in the end, but its all combined to make a better story. And yes, someone does die but i do say that it wasn't as big of a shock as I was told. J.K. Rowling has made a surprising and exciting sequel to a story that just keeps getting better. Rowling left so many loop holes and loose ends in the 4th book that I'm surprised that there are only going to be 7 books in the series. I (and many, many others) can't wait for the next installment. I bet it's going to be even better then the 4 that she has already written.
