Summary: The best as of yet!
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire made me nearly weep with joy at it's immense number of pages (over 700 pgs.) I read the other three and was immediately hooked with the beginning of the first: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I must admit I was overjoyed at the number of pages, but because I am a fast reader, I was done in about a day with it, which left me yearning painfully for the fifth installment, which is due in July of 2001, I have along time to wait, but await impatiently, my only hope is that as the series goes on the books will get thicker, if J.K. Rowling happens to read this review, I implore her to make the fifth book over 1,000 pages long, so that we can read for what may seem like an eternity. J.K. Rowling is a genius in her own sense, and I hope that she continues to hold us spellbound by this young wizard, Harry Potter.

Summary: It Only Gets Better
Review: Though I've suspected the Harry Potter series was really for adults, The Goblet of Fire convinced me! It held my attention and allowed me moments of melancholy of childhooh fantasies. I do think that the mere size may be prohibitive to some young readers. If they will stand true and put up with the weight of the book they will find great pleasure and adventure as "You Know Who" returns to kill Harry. He has an adventure on every page!

Summary: Harry Potter Rocks!
Review: This book entranced me. I couldn't put it down. You get transplanted into Harry's world and you share everything he feels. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as well as the other Harry Potter books, are by far the most enjoyable read I've ever had. READ THIS BOOK, you will be very glad you did.

Summary: Great! When is the next book due?
Review: I am a 58 year old grandmother of 10, not only have I read and thoroughly enjoyed the Harry Potter books but my husband (who is not an avid read like I am) read them and enjoyed them. We have passed the books on to our ten grandchildren and they have thorougly enjoyed them also, the older ones have read to the younger ones so everyone could enjoy them! More, more!

Summary: Good book, but leave out 4 letter words.
Review: This was every bit as good as the first three. I deduct one star due to the words I had to edit out when reading to my seven year old. They are really not necessary. I am sure that someone as bright and creative as JK Rowling can do better

Summary: WOW!
Review: The first time I touched this book, I felt that i can't finish it. Imagine reading a book of 700+ pages. I had never read a book more than 250 pages. But when I read the first chapter I didn't want to put it down. Since then, I was so keen to read the book after school. It is a spectacular, amazing, and a woderful work of art. It's worth buying even if the price doubles.

Summary: Most delightful series of books I've read for years.
Review: I started reading the Harry Potter books because I heard on the news that certain Christian groups were giving them an unfaviorable review. Out of curiosity and being a Christian myself I felt it unfair to accept others view of these books without knowing myself the context of them. I purchased all four of them and I have found them very enjoyable, very intriguing, and in a way teach us how to conduct ourselves properly in very confrontational situations. I find them thoroughly delightful and hated every time I had to put a book down. I personally don't see anything wrong with these books and recommend them for very pleasurable reading. I'm looking forward to the next one and also to the movie if they actually make it.

Summary: A story for all ages.
Review: The best of the four books and that is saying a lot, as the first three were excellent. This book is substantially longer than the first three so the plot is a little fuller.

The books are great to read to your kids. Even younger kids (age 5+) will understand the story and be enthralled. Share the reading with your older kids and make it a family time. Even adults will find the story mesmerizing.

Rowling does a great job of keeping the story moving, keeping your attention focused, and making a book come alive. If you have a reluctant reader in your home, these may be the books that turn them around. It was J.R.R. Tolkein for me, but Harry Potter may be this generation's Hobbit.

Summary: Great Job J.K. Rowlings!
Review: First of all,I can't believe how imaginative and smart J.K. Rowlings is!How the plots are written is incredible.I love all her books and most of all the 3rd. one,(although the 4th. one came very close!)Things I enjoyed about the fourth book was that even though there wasn't Quidditch, there was still the Triwizard Tournament which had a lot of action and excitement.Another thing was the Yule Ball which was funny and fit into the book very well.My favorite chapter is when Harry finds out the 2nd. task! The last thing I would like to say is J.K. Rowlings captures your attention in every book and makes the characters feel so real!

Summary: Harry Potter
Review: The Harry Potter series is the best book series in the world.I enjoyed all four. I am so surprised J.K. Rowling has such an imagination. The first book was wonderful. It showed true courage and bravery from a boy of 11 who didn't even know how to use magic that well, growing up with Muggles.(Anti-magic beings) The second book shows true mystery. It was so hard for me to put this one down because I kept wanting to find out the what would would happen next. The third Harry Potter book is a true tale. It shows complete mystery, adventure, and suspense. I'd say this one ends in the beginning of the Harry Potter Book 4 with the reader meeting Peter Petigrew ..............If I had to choose between the movie series, Scream and Harry Potter, I'd choose Harry Potter. No book, movie, or cd is better than the Harry Potter series.
