Rating: Summary: and a half Review: I really don't know what I think about this book. I didn't like it as much as book three, my favorite of the Harry Potter books, and I didn't like it as much as book one, my second favorite, and I think that book four and book two are tied for third. It is pretty well-written, as all of Rowlings books seem to be, and I liked the chapters that the first and second tasks hold, and I like the chapter Padfoot Returnes, but I can freely say that I did not like the first chapter one little bit. I can say that the book deserves the three stars given to it, one each, it seemes for the three chapters that I liked well. Some other chapters are good too.
Rating: Summary: What a disappointment Review: I very much enjoyed the first three Harry Potter books. The third was the best followed by the first and then the second. The fourth book was a total disappointment. It was long and pointless. I would rather wait a few years for a good book then to have a huge monstrosity like the goblet of fire put out to make money. I am looking forward to the fifth book and hope it is more like the first and third.

Rating: Summary: Harry's back! Review: I read the book in less than two days. I couldn't put it down. I am 11 and loved it sooooooo much. I made my mother read it. She had the same problem. She couldn't put it down untill it was finished. MY family is a very christian family and we found it okay for christians as well. It shows how good wins over evil. Note to J.K Rowling; Write more! You rule! I can't wait for the next book! Hurry and write it soon!
Rating: Summary: The Best Yet in the Series! Review: Fans of J.K. rowling definitely will not be disappointed with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This book is definitely the darkest book of them all with two murders. The plot in this book was very well thought up and turned out to be enthralling. Many newspapers were saying that the end of the book was very scary; don't take this piece of information, it's not true. As well as a great plot Harry also begins to notice girls. Also a old tradition is being brought back to the school. Potter fans will not want to miss this miraculous book. if you are thinking oh, this book is 700 plus pages and it's not worth it, think again! the pages fly by like harry on his Firebolt. Read it soon. You'll be glad you did!
Rating: Summary: I'm 29 years old and i loved every word Review: I have throughly enjoyed the Harry Potter series and am waiting on the edge of my seat for the 5th year to come out. A delightful adventure into wizards and homework. Jim Henson meets Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Each one captures the imagination and holds the reader spellbound until the last page. My hat off to Mrs. Rowling. I cannot wait to see what's in store for Harry next.
Rating: Summary: The Magic continues Review: As the mother of four children, I have fallen in love with these books. These books are not just about a magical world in which Harry Potter goes to school, they are magic themselves because my 11 year old that hated to read was given one as a birthday present from his stepfather and he discovered the joy of reading! (Thank you J.K. Rawling) We own two complete sets of these books at our house and reread them often, my kids would rather reread a Harry Potter book than watch T.V. Book four is great, A little surprising and yes, I cried when the one character died. Here at our house we are waiting and counting down until number five will be released!
Rating: Summary: Rowling is now officially closing in on Tolkien. Review: I was a skeptic for a long time about the Harry Potter phenomenon. I tried reading "Philosopher's Stone" (Sorcerer's Stone to all numbskull Americans) about three times but never got beyond the first two chapters. Finally, at my nephew's urging, I read everything through "Azkaban"...and I was hooked. And now, with this terrific fourth book, JK Rowling has made a believer out of me, the person who thought no one else could touch the works of JRR Tolkien, E. Nesbit, Susan Cooper and Edward Eager. But she's up there with the masters now! "Goblet" has all the requisite passion, suspense, thrills and wonder of the best of fantasy, magic and mystery books. But as in all the fine books that have come before this series (The Lord of the Rings, The Dark Is Rising sequence, etc.), the main character would be nothing without the help, faithfulness and bravery of his friends. As much as I love Harry, I also love Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Sirius, the Weasleys, and, in this last book, poor doomed Diggory. I alternately bit my nails, screamed out loud, and cried through the last 100 pages. I'm spent. Thank you, Ms. Rowling -- you've made my summer.
Rating: Summary: JK Rowling does it again! Review: Since the begininng, I have loved the Harry Potter books. I fancy how Rowling puts so much detail and reality into the book... When I grow up I wish to write books of fantasy like her. I do not have a favorite of the 4 books, but I have enjoyed reading all of them and hope that the 5th comes out soon! I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys fantasy, suspense and a good laugh! SO COME ON READ THE BOOKS TODAY!
