Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great book! Review: After reading the first 3 books, I was really looking forward to reading the fourth because the first 3 were so good. I wouldn't call #4 better than the others, because they were all excellent, but it sure was exciting to read. I definitely recommend Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to anyone, but under one condition: nothing will make sense if you start with book 4, or book 3, or even book 2. You have to read them in order! Trust me, it will make for much more enjoyable reading.Have a great time reading this excellent book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The greatest beginning of the beginning! Review: I was fascinated with the previous 3 volumes of Harry Potter. AT the same time, I couldn't help doubting how dear Rowling continues to write on this Harry Potter series. I thought she had written out all best part of the fantastic story of the growing up magical boy "Harry Potter." He has overcome sad memory of his parents' death and he has got everything he needs, wealth, family, and friends. Now he's all right in every way. I was wrong, however. He always has dark shadow on his back, Voldemort and it's time to face it. Rowling is clever. Her writing is well planned. Now I know the reason why she named the last chapter of this book "The Beginning." Yes, she's right. In this volume, she tells we are on the turning point of the long, long story which I know tells itself a new beginning of HIS adventure.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Rowling reaches new heights Review: IAM ACTUALLY 14! Although I think this book is great considering I love reading and the book kept me wanting to read more oftenn than usual..the book although may not be the best for children without parent guidlines! The Bad:1.witchcraft is very real and must not be messed around with, although this book "sugar coats" it.Witchcraft is not good at all.i am a christain teen and know about witchcraft from school,it is not to played around with.2.Rowling possibly put a little bit to much swear words.although Moody says themmost of the time(at the end it kinda explains why he doesn't care swearing)little kids reads them and they might think it is okay to say.3.The book is now getting darker,.parents who have kids who are under ten.should read the book and maybe censor a couple parts of the book.4.the book does get a bit boring for readers who already know who is who, what has happened will get bored. Fortunately, this was the first harry potter book i read and was interested at why Harry is so popular.the bookkeeps getting a bit boringas kids who really don't like to read, will have trouble keeping interest in the book sometimes.5.HUMOR is sorta missing in the book.but its hard to say something funny when Voldemrt is duling you isn't it?6.Harry is always getting help or breaking rules and he gets praised! The good:the book is although long,i liked it very much because of the length,i read very quickly and finished book in 1-2 days.1.its also expands your imagination of the mind.2 suspence was building as harry had to do the tasks and much more.3 mystery was also part of the story.4 Harry and his friends are now teens and romance has sorta kicked in.5.kids who doesn't like reading might like it now when they read Harry Potter!at first i thought the book was stupid until i gave it a chance.Although some christains think harry should be bannned beacause of witchcraft and magic.Lookpast that and see how the book toys with your imagination! Finallay the book for fans who already know what has happend to harry, would probably rate it 4 or 5 stars.I would recomend who is interested in the siries and not yet started, start with number 4.it gives a lot of background what has happen the past 3 years.UNLESS,you don't want the first 3 books ending blown!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: AWESOME! Harry Potter has done it again! Review: I loved all 4 of these books. The "Goblet of Fire" is great, maybe even the BEST of the Harry Potter books. Like all the books The Goblet of Fire is about growing and learning - it is about discovering your own powers and talents. But it is especially about how to be human, how to develop into a better human being, how to enhance your personal character. While it is tempting to always strive to win at others expense, The Goblet of Fire teaches people of all ages also the virtue of teamwork, of true friendship, and of overcoming challenges and discovering your inner greatness. It is a book about PERSONAL GROWTH and SELF-DISCOVERY! As usual Harry discovers the secrets and acts heroically. Lots of twists and turns and big surprises. You MUST read this book! I know it is longer than the other 3 books - BUT IT IS WORTH IT! This is a book for the ages - a must read for people of all ages (I confess I am an adult - and I loved it). ANOTHER BOOK I highly recommend is: "Working on Yourself Doesn't Work" by Ariel & Shya Kane. This book is the most simple and yet magical and enjoyable book I have ever read about Self-Discovery. It is not a novel, but it is about the Principles that allow you to easily discover how to continue to grow and discover your own greatness, whether young or old. It helps you to have your life be an ongoing learning process and self-discovery process. It is also about becoming your true self...as one of the authors has said, it is about learning how to BECOME YOUR OWN PERSONAL HERO. It is really a Practical Guide to having a Magical Life! If you have been feeling a bit like a "Muggle" lately - READ both "Working On Yourself Doesn't Work" and "The Goblet of Fire" and discover how to re-claim the MAGIC in your life!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It's really really good--I can't believe there'll only be 7! Review: I loved it! Best of all of the books yet--not to mentionlongest! I'm really addicted to all the Harry Potter books--I finished this one in just hours, believe it or not. I mean, wow, I'm a member of all these Harry Potter fan sites, and a ton of the Interactive Hogwarts!... Anyway, if J.K.'s books keep getting longer, I think I'll be in heaven! Then when the 7th one's done, I'll die of dispair (maybe). Well, trust me, Harry Potter is great--and if you've never read it, then start now! This book deffinetly lives up to the reputation set by the first three, even though the begining is a little different. Just read it! Read all of them! YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry Potter 4 is the Best Yet! Review: J.K. Rowling is a genius! First of all let me say thank you to this very talented and creative lady. I have enjoyed all the Harry Potter books from the beginning and am pleased to see the integrity and quality of the series maintained so well. One always hopes that a sequel will bear out the reputation that the original book has carved for itself. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire doesn't just maintain the standard, it raises the bar. One of the things about this series that I enjoy so much is that the aging of the characters is handled realistically and in good literary style. Harry's fourteen now and the social/life problems he's encountering are pretty much the norm for any adolescent. Well, an adolescent wizard anyway. I urge all fans of the series to read Goblet of Fire. As for myself, all I want to be is the next Professor of Muggle Studies at Hogwart's! Kudos Ms. Rowling, keep up the great work!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Oh, no...now we've got to wait for book five... Review: J.K.'s latest book is great. I enjoyed the new characters and the new insights into Harry's past. I wish she'd finally get him away from his muggle relatives the Dursley's. My children have devoured each one of Ms. Rowling's books and I appreciate having a series out that my children actually make excuses to read. Thanks again for a fun story and how long are we going to have to wait for book five?
