Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry rocks! Review: Harry Potter and the goblet of fire is possibly the best Harry Potter book yet. If you loved the first 3, this one won't let you down. With a source of different and familiar evils, and the same witty humor, you'll be reading it for hours on end. Each page leaves you with something yet to find, pulling you to turn the page. In the course of the book, all the miniature plots that left you hanging at the end of the 3rd book are explained, and all the mini plots are left open for the 5th Harry Potter, the last sentence or so leaving you no clues of what will soon come. Everbody everywhere is reading this book, and if you haven't, you're missing out.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Depressing As Hell Review: Am I the only person in the world who thinks that this is the most depressing book ever written? Am I the only person in the world who thinks that "watching" Harry being tortured via blood- letting, major scar pain, the fear of death, the death of a friend, trying to save himself while suffering from a long - untreated broken leg, seeing his dead parents, hearing them scream, and Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome from all this is ENJOYABLE! Even worse yet, the last chapter assures us that this is only "The Beginning" of his trials!...
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: getting better and better Review: I have all four harry potter books and I love them all. they just keep getting better and better. when i finished reading the fourth one i must say that even though it was the best one of them all i was a little depressed.(i was depressed cuz i didn't have the 5th one to read) i ended up reading the whole series again and now i've started the series a second time and am on the third book. can you tell yet that i like hary potter?(lol) my favorite characters are the weasly twins. the differince between the 1st-3rd books and the 4th will astound you astound and amaze you. when i say it's different i tell the truth but Rowlings hasn't lost her touch and you will be missing out on alot if you don't read it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A wonderful book! Review: The Harry Potter series is one of the best series of books I've read in a long time. They are a lot of fun and full of imagination. This is one of those books that you will be unable to put down while regretting every page turned because it is one less page to read. Goblet of fire is my favorite so far. Filled with the excitement of the first three books Rowling does an excellent job of keeping the series alive and vibrant. Some authors have a tendency to bog down in a long series, but this is not the case here. This is a series that is very much worth your time!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Fantastic Book but not for the younger set. Review: Wow! Rowlings really outdid herself in the Goblet of Fire and I can't wait for number five to come out. However, my kids probably won't be reading it until they've gotten a lot older and I'm glad my ten year old didn't finish number four. The story was entertaining and engaging; the characters were (once again) so real you could swear you've actually met some of them. The intensity, however, was a bit much for a kid's book. I read the last few chapters last night and had a hard time turning off the light. Rowlings is so good at making the characters come alive and she didn't just do that with the kids and teachers at Hogwarts. The vivid descriptions in the final chapters made my skin crawl and I can't imagine how such gore and terror could be displayed in a movie without getting an R rating.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great read! Review: This book was a great page-turner. The mystery of who was plotting to sabotage Harry and return Lord Voldemort to power was so well-crafted that I had no idea who the bad guy would turn out to be. The descriptions of the Triwizard Tournament, the foreign students and the Yule Ball were all vibrant and formed their own living, breathing world. And even though I knew someone was going to die in the book, when that character did die it was shocking and heart-breaking. A great read for kids and adults (I'm nearly 30!).
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Really Good Review: This is the best one yet. I'm 14 and I've been reading economics books for the past 6 months, and this is by far more interesting. (Just goes to show you that these can appeal to anyone.) A worthy follow-up to the previous three. In response to the 12-year-old in Seattle who called it "mediocre", I wholeheartedly disagree. I tried to read an O'Brien book, but found it's all hopelessly archaic naval terms and lifeless "adventure". Tolkien is excellent, but you can't say it's realistic. You have to remember that these are written for a younger age group - it's just that people of any age can enjoy them. Very good job. I tip my hat to you, J.K. Rowling.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: OH PLEASE! Review: I'm sorry if this reveiw upsets the numerous Harry Potter Fan clubs...BUT' I just don't see what all the hype is about. PLEASE it isn't that good. OKAY I'll admit the first three were absolutely teriffic but this one is rotten. Not only is the plot getting old (People love him in the begining again. Then people start disliking him again. Harry Potter defeats Voldemort again and is the hero of everything again). But it seems to me it's getting more inappropriate for children. I'm not talking about the size of the book (which is longer than CRIME AND PUNISHMENT). The language is getting stronger. There is more cursing in the fourth than in the first three combined. And the violence. If yuo thought the three were violent that was baby stuff compared to this. Honestly, I know a mother who is reading this to her first grader and stopped in middle. She expected it to be okay for her but it wasn't. Come on I know someone out there agrees with me. What is all the hype about. Book stores staying open till 12:01 on the night it came out, a radio station had a Harry Potter get together. I know plenty of books that are much better that didn't get half the attention. Wake up!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: very well written-great read Review: hmmm, what can i say? this book is a great one, it upholds the magic and mystery of the previous three with the plot twist that makes it a great read for anyone. after i read this book i had to read it agian and go back to my favorite parts becuase it was so well written. its hard to belive that all this came from one womans head! i wait for the next one!
