Summary: I'm a bit old...
Review: i am 16 years old, and am absolutely captivated by these books. i own copies of books 1, 2, and 4. J.K. Rowling is a superb writer, with a talent that mpst only hope to match. My only hope is that she writes another set of books, either about harry after he leaves the school, or about a new character. I pity those who shun Harry Potter, because they are missing something that only happens once in a lifetime- a book that makes kids want to read, that makes parents spend more time with their children, and that makes headlines in more papers than can be counted.

Summary: Another fad clouding minds!
Review: This book is absolutely boring! All the other Harry Potters are okay, not good, but not bad, but this one is very lame. The storyline needs a lot of work because there are too many other insights happening. This is another fad, like pokemon and Dragonball/Z/GT, I'm in the latter one said, but this fad is clouding other people's minds! Just because everyone else likes it means that you don't have to like it! There's probably only 10 people who actually like this book, and all the people who say they like it only say that because their friends like it or as they say so. The popularity is clouding children's minds, so they can't choose whether they like it or not. They just like it not because the book is good but everyone else thinks its good, and that's not very good on today's generation. This book isn't worth your money nor your time, like what you like, not what other people like. Save your money and spend it on the Redwall series, those stories written by another British author has more action, drama, and more fun to read!

Summary: I JUST LOVE THESE BOOKS!
Review: I started reading the Harry Potter books right after the fourth one came out, and I can tell you, I was not dissapointed. My mother, my sister, and my two best friends had all read them and were begging me to read them. At first I resisted and said that they couldn't be all that they were cracked up to be, but I can now tell you just how wrong I was. After starting the first book (finally) I finished it and the other three in one week. I think the fourth one is the best even though the ending is a little sad. I have read the Chronicles of Narnia, the Lord of the Rings, and the Redwall series and liked them tremendously. But I have liked none as much as the Harry Potter books. They deliver everything a reader wants and I can say that I am now hooked. Call me a Harry Potter fanatic if you will (I have now read all four three times) but I think it is good for kids (and adults for that matter) to be reading. And congrats to J.K. Rowling for giving us these books that are just so good!

Summary: Totally Awesome!
Review: This book rocks! Even my dad is reading it. For those that don't like fantasy, try the Harry Potter series. It's great! Goblet of Fire was a bit long (okay, really long!)but it was so good, I just wanted it to go on forever. Harry gets to do lots of cool stuff in the story, and even gets a crush on a girl! Rowling is great at keeping up with his age and maturity. HP4 brings back a lot of old characters, like Dobby. You have got to read HP4!

Summary: a wonderful read
Review: This was a great book! As a Mom of a 10 year old, I decided to read the Harry Potter books to see what she was so excited about. Well now I know. They are wonderful books, especially for Pagan kids. It is about time that witchcraft was looked at as a culture and not a cult. So why did I give it a 4 star? Simple because compared to the first 3 books it dragged on a bit. I was not as captivated as the first 3 but I would still suggest buying and reading the book. My fave part of the book was when he had to go in the lake with the mermaids....thrilling! I have even started reading my five year old the series. A whole family production. A good way to get your child reading! CAN"T WAIT UNTIL THE MOVIE

Summary: Potter and Bugsbunny.
Review: Like her previous books, Rowling has written another book that is like Bugsbunny cartoons. There is a low level that children will appreciate and there is the higher level that adults will enjoy.

Summary: Harry Potter: World's Greatest Series!
Review: I have recently gotten the first four books from the Harry Potter series for my twelvth birthday. That was less than a month ago and I am already through with all of them. I often wish to no longer be a muggle. I dream about being a star student at Hogwarts. I long to be a great Quidditch player on my brand new Firebolt. J.K. Rowling has given us readers such an insight and made us fall broom-first into the magical world of Harry Potter. I often lose track of anything going on around me and imagine what it's like to catch the golden snitch, or put on the Invisibility Cloak and travel to Hogsmeade. The insight that Rowling gives us is so extraordinary that you feel as if you are actually there, watching Hermione research her Transfiguration report, that is until you are suddenly pulled away from the story and disappointedly back into the boring life of a muggle. I cannot wait to pick up the next book and read about Harry's next great adventure.
