Summary: Fantasy
Review: I enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. Rowlings has created a amazing fantasy world that is tailored to childern but that can be appreciated by all ages. The problem is most adults over analyze everything they read and so will never be able to enjoy the book the way a child would. To read this for maximum enjoyment just emerge yourself, it doesn't matter what books it resembles. The story and it's characters have a magic and mystery that are completely their own. It is a fantastic story that allows us to mix the magical world of Harry Potter and his friends with the common everyday world around us.

I would like to say Thank You to J. K. Rowling for creating a topic that we can share with children. Your books are sure to be timeless classics.

Summary: False Information
Review: I have read all the Harry Potter books atleast two times each. I been in a major dispute with various people over this topic, that somepeople believe that Harry Potter should not be all good and Voldermort not be all evil. I do not believe that Harry Potter is all good and Voldermort is all evil. I also believe that J.K. Rowling is a good author. Harry Potter has some characteristics of an evil character, Voldermort. He can speak the language of snakes, which was a major characteristic of Voldermort and founder of the Slytherins. That doesn't seem good to me. Voldermort does demonstrate a few nice points when he is in forms of others. Even though his intentions are bad, he can do considerate things. I highly recommend this book to everyone, because I know you will enjoy it.

Review: A freind said this is a good book for all reader's, he was wrong. While some of it is kind of interesting, overall, this is aimed at kids. I wouldn't reccomend for older readers, but some nice ideas are in the book. Too bad I don't like reading, and I feel I wasted my time.

Summary: Mad about Harry
Review: I have loved all The Potter books, but this one is truly the best by far.

It deals with many issues that maybe adults don't want children reading about(slavery, prejudice, death), but are important for tnem to understand.Rowling deals with these issues in a way children can understand and handle(over 10yrs. old),and paves the way for some great values clarification discussions between parents and children.

I think Harry is a perfect mix of normal boy and precocious kid. You go Harry!

Summary: A fantastic addition to a great series.
Review: As you know, Harry Potter, a 14 year old wizard, has always had his work cut out for him. This is Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts, a school for sorcery, and is mad because his favorite sport, quidditch, has been cancelled. Instead, a triwizard contest that was closed because of the death toll has been reopened. The age limit has been set for 17 but Harry's name somehow gets entered and now he has to play. Now Harry has to try and survive the series of events that are placed before him. Soon Harry starts to get the feeling that some one is out to hurt him,or, to kill him. Now, with the help of his friends, Ron and Herimone, he will try and win the competiton. If you enjoyed the other books by J.K.Rowling, this book is sure to bring out the wizard inside of you as you follow Harry through his fourth year at Hogwarts.

Summary: To: A 1-year-old reader from anywhere Harry Potter is NOT!!!
Review: First off, i'd like to say something to this person. But seeing as if I said what was really on my mind, this review won't be published, I will say something else. This is NOT supposed to be a work of art, that will change Literature forever, it is supposed to be a children's book printed simply for enjoyment. This book is a tad bit dark, and may not be appropriate for 7 and 8 year old's, but it is still a great book nonetheless. I think Miss. Rowling is going in a different direction with this book, and I beleive that she was trying to add emotion to the Harry Potter series. She did this with triumph, as she put in anger and regret, and it is more realistic. What did you expect? With Rita Skeeter prodding into Hermione's, Ron's, and Harry's lives, and twisting the truth into a pretzle, you expected Harry, Ron, and Hermione to sit back and smile and be glad that Rita Skeeter was making fools of themselves? You expected that Lord Voldemort was never going to come back, and even if he did he would become Harry's best friend? Yeah, right. I think that Miss. Rowling did a terrific job, and I hope that the rest of the series is as good as this book, if not better. She always out does herself.

Summary: Just now getting around to buying the book?
Review: Either you enjoy reading the reviews like me or you are awfully cautious. You have seen the reviews go off the chart both ways. All I suggest is be sure to read the books in order. Also I have read the books and listened to the tapes during the morning commute. My suggestion is that they are prices well and you should buy both the tape and the book. I have not tries the CDs yet. The book gives you the spelling and the tape give you the thrill of passive listening to a great tail.

Summary: The best yet!
Review: I really don't consider this book in the same league as the first three in the series. The sheer size of the book allows Joanne Rowling to include much more detail, therefore weaving a more intricate and fascinating story. New characters are born and old favourites (including Dobby, the house elf) revisited. The ending of the book is a lot darker than in any of the other three books and we see what Voldemort is really like and learn the identity of some of the Death Eaters. Despite a predictable mysterious villain (this time its Proffessor Moody) and a rather slow start, I love this book. And Harry's hormones finally start to kick in. Brilliant.

Summary: Harry Potter Rocks!
Review: This book is fabulous. Once you pick it up, you cannot put it down. I stayed up until 1 in the morning reading! I love how when you start to think nothing is going to happen, something jumps up and grabs your attention back. I've read it twice already, and I only read books twice if I think they're aboslutely fabulous.
