Summary: What are they talking about...?
Review: I don't like the reviews that call these 'the kid's books for adults'. They may have been true for the third book, but the first two were no more 'for adults' that 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' is. They were definately children's books. They were particularly good children's books, and like most children's books, enjoyable for adults to read.
This fourth book is most definately not a children's book. A better way to describe it would be 'an adult's book that children will enjoy'.
This book is possibly one of the best I've ever read. Rowling, I'm convinced, is either an incredibly brilliant writer or more than one person. The characters she has established in the previous books really blossom in this book. Snape, in particular, I look forward to seeing in future installments.
What really made this book great was how real the emotions are among the characters. I'm not ashamed to admit that I was almost in tears when Hagrid said to Harry 'Yeh did as much as yer father would've done, an' I can' give yeh no higher praise than that.'
Read this book. I can give it no higher praise than that.

Summary: Fun Reading
Review: Harry Potter is the hero that children need. He always sticks to his principles and finds himself up against evil at every turn, yet he never gives up. Children need someone like this to look up to. There are no evil sayings or spells coming out of Harry's wands, not even when he is up against the dreaded "He Who Must Not be Named". Clearly the people who think he is a bad influence or encouraging evil acts, need to go back to school and learn reading comprehension skills. The whole series has not only shown my child the joy of reading, but also understanding plots and the difference between good and evil. He has someone to cheer for. Reading these stories has been a lot of fun for the family and we look forward to the next one.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Review: I think it's the best book I've ever read. Rowling is excellent. All her books get quite scary in the end. I can't wait for the next one I wish it was already out. The weird thing about these books is you could be reading it and think you've only been reading five minutes and you've really been reading two hours! It's just impossible to put it down.

Summary: Potter's Perils
Review: More complex and more work to read than earlier installments, Book 4 shows the author's vision and will entice adult readers to stay for the next three books. An action-filled finish is indeed a new beginning in the battle against the dark arts. Good job.
