Rating: Summary: The neatest, coolest, most facinating book I've ever read! Review: I believe this book is amazingly written; how does J.K.Rowling do it? It's one of those books that you just never want to put down, but when it's over, wish you would have read slower. I reccomend this book to anyone in the world who CAN read. It's sensational, a true classic, like all Harry Potter reads. I truly loved it.
Rating: Summary: it gets better each time Review: I love this book. I mean I'm 18 years old and I never use to read until one day I had to read a book of 250 pgs or more, so I went to the store and my cousin said, "hey Chad why don't you buy that book right there called Harry Potter," so I ended up buying it and ever since then I have never wanted to put in down. It has taken me two weeks to read the third and fourth year, which I wish it would have taken me longer so that I could have enjoyed it more. Now that Lord Voldemort is back I can't wait for the fifth year. So what I'm trying to say is that I think that it is a good book for kids just because it is an attention grabber which will make kids more interested in reading like it did for me. Thank you J.K.Rowling for creating Harry Potter.
Rating: Summary: The fourth is the best!! Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the best of the series. This novel contain darker style than other three, and lots of thrilling and twist events come one by one, the Quidditch World Cup, the Dark Mark, the Triwizard Tournament, return of the Lord Voldemort, fight with Voldemort. Especially after Harry escaping from Voldemort, the storyline seem more exciting than ever before. I can't wait for the fifth one. Well done! Miss Rowling, you have made a classic leagend that generations will talk and read about Harry Potter in this century and forever.
Rating: Summary: Its still great, but somehow less than the others Review: So, ok. It is still THAT great. But I can't help but like the ones before I little more. I hope Rowling reads all the reviews and take it constructively. Its still good. you should still read it! I don't mean its bad because I didn't give it 5 stars. The book is, yes, pivotal! But 3 is still better. 2 is better than 1. 3 is better than 2. but 3 is better than 4. HOpe you got that!
Rating: Summary: A little love, a little death, and a lot of magic Review: In Year Four of Harry Potter's attendance at Hogwarts' school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, it seems that Sirius Black is still on the run, and that the Quidditch World Cup is going on. Even before Harry goes back to Hogwarts, strange things are happening. For one, there's the frightening Dark Mark. And then there's Harry's dream, so vivid in his mind... But when Harry does enter his school, ther eal trouble brews up yet again. The strange Goblet Of Fire has selected Harry's name to enter The Triwizard Tournament, a contest of danger and death-inflicting tasks, and Harry Potter has no idea who is after him. The clues only lead the 14-year old wizard back to a dark enemy himself, who was supposed to be dead thrirteen years ago... Harry Potter knows what he must do. But often the decisions we make can mean a sacrifice. As well as for Harry Potter.
Rating: Summary: "On the edge of your seat" exciting Review: This is the best book, I think, I have ever read. "Harry Potter" book 1,2,and 3 are very good but book four is the best of all. If you have not ever found a book you really got interested in, you better try this one. I never really got into any books before this series. This book is "on the edge of your seat" exciting. If you get tired of reading it, or it sort of gets boring, read to the end of the chapter and if you are still bored put it away for an hour. Then go back and read it, it should get better. I thought so. This a fiction book. Nothing can come true but it is getting bad things said about it because of wicthes, wizards, flying brooms, and Quidditch. This is the best book, in my opinion, so you should read it.
Rating: Summary: ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS! Review: I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH.ITS SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!YOU WILL REALLY ENJOY THIS BOOK!THE BOOK GRABS YOU AND NEVER LETS YOU GO.THEN IT WILL MAKE YOU BUY THE BOOK IN THE SERIES.GO BUY IT.
Rating: Summary: Excellent!! Wonderful chidrens book, Fanasty world..... Review: I thought that this was one of the best sequels to the harry potter collecton yet, It is one of those books that keeps you up ALL night reading and leaving you in suspense as from what is going to happen next.. I think Harry potter is an Excellent book not only for children but for all ages as well. It puts you in some sort of fantasy world that your mind donsent want to leave, and you at times wish that you would be part of that unique world. I think that one of the greatest things about these books is that they let you picutre things as you want to, The book sort of comes in tact with an imagintive/creative part of the mind and lets you see things as you want to.. Thats why i think that it is so great that there isnt a movie because the movie would just kill everyones own perspective as to what this book is supposed to mean., All in all i think this book is great and recomend it to all.
Rating: Summary: Good Triumphs Over Insidious Evil Review: Harry Potter does it again! He triumphs over evil and wins our hearts, but this time the evil is far more sophisticated and insidious than before. The dreaded and feared Lord Voldemort finally returns in his hideous and revolting form, striking terror in the hearts of all the magical world and the readers as well. This book is more sophisticated than the other three because it deals with complex moral and ethical issues as well as introduces the concept of an evil so vile that even a universal good and innocence is hard pressed to combat and conquer it. However, the book, because of that very complexity, is more interesting and thought provoking than the others. Perhaps aimed at a bit older reader, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, returns us to the magical world with a vengeance as once again the reader immerses himself in the characters, creatures, and circumstances of this new work. The forces of good and evil clash as before, but we see Harry and his friends facing ethical dilemmas previously unencountered as they get older and receive more advanced magical training. The qualities of friendship, loyalty, and responsibility are strongly presented here as Harry and friends face challenge after challenge. They are also faced with ethical decisions that come with experience and maturity. And the bottom line is how hard it will be to wait for the next installment to find out what happens next!
Rating: Summary: An Enchanting Tale of Witchcraft and Wizardry Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was a good story. Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is full of suspense and laughter as he is unexpectedly gets entered in the Tri-Wizard tournament. One day, Harry's scar starts to hurt, which usually mean Voldemort, the most feared wizard in the world, is nearby. Will Harry be able to escape his wrath? This book was good, but it was pretty long (about 730 pages, to be more specific). I liked it because it blended humor and suspense. I would give it five stars.
