In this book Harry goes to Hogwarts for his fourthyear of wizard schooling. This year there is a huge event taking placeat Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and some veryunexpected things happen! All of J.K Rowling's ideas of the magicalworld are very descriptive, inventive, and interesting! In this book, you continue getting to know the characters from the previous books, and new ones are introduced-each character with a unique personalityyou can relate to. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a great bookfor people who like fantasy, and excitement. I highly recommend it!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Another magnificint book by Rowling! Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire would have to be the most exciting book of the Harry Potter series yet. J.K. Rowling sure shows some of her best skills in this book. The tension and thrilling scenes in this book took me away. I could have never predicted some of the events that took place! I also thouroughly enjoyed the tasks that led up to the final task. I was anxious as to how Potter was going to get out of something or use his mind to solve a riddle. The creativity and imagination that has been put into this book is amazing! Rowling is the most entertaining writer due to her creativity. the names, descriptions, and tasks are quite original. I would have to say J.K. Rowling is the George Lucas of books!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: They Keep Getting Better Review: Having listened to all of the unabridged Potter audio books, I am continually amazed by the skill of reader Jim Dale. His superlative performance is astonishing, capturing completely the nuances of every character, from nasty Malfoy to comforting Dumbledore, even imbueing minor characters like Almost Headless Nick and Peeves the Ghost with distinct personalities. My husband was so hooked on this 12-tape set that he listened for almost an entire 8-hour airplane flight, missing two in-flight movies. This is the most intense of the Potter series, and I don't have to add to the raves it has received. Listening to the story, however, is an entirely different experience than reading the book. Even if you've read the Potter books before they are worth a listen. Jim Dale narrates all four books, and he continues to marvel.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great, amazing book! Review: This book is good in a lot of ways. It has suspense and action. It is about a boy named Harry Potter who has a hard time at school. where he goes to a school called Hogwarts which is a very magical school. Harry has some friends named Ron and Hermione. Hermione is not a born wizard so she is called a Muggle. Ron is in a family where they live off of every penny. Harry has a small fortune that his parents left him [his parents are dead]. In this book Harry and his friends get in a lot of trouble and Harry is entered in a contest which is very hard and he did not enter himself. Over all this book is very, very good and everyone, big and small, should read this book or should hear because it is so good.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A good read Review: The book explores themes that smack of Judeo-Christian morality, in the same way that C.S.Lewis and George Lucas have engaged us earlier on. The ingredients are mostly brilliant, though a few of the characters and crow-bar plot explanations left the mind questioning. Such is life. What do you want out of a book? Are you a child or an adult? The belief that only children grow is as much a myth as the beautiful world Rowling creates in her books. Adults and children benefit from the simple, and that is that life, in whatever world, can be approached with forgiveness and positivity. I enjoyed the creativity within the book, and I love following the events that go on. It spans every age-group, though many think it suits children. We can learn a lot from children, and Rowling invites them to develop with Harry in this book. Her role as a gentle educator is at its most potent in the fourth part, and I don't mind it being so at all.
