Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire is the best! Review: The fourth Harry Potter book has reached a new level. There's a bit more violence, & a taste of basic teen dilemmas; Eloise Mulligan tries to curse her pimples off, but not to worry, they fixed her nose back on in the end & Harry has a crush on Cho.If you have enjoyed solving the mysteries in the previous books, there are plenty to puzzle over in this new one. Do you want a ride through the impossible, wonderful, mysterious & of course, magical world of Harry Potter? Then make sure you read Harry's newest adventure! Rating: Summary: This is the best!!! Review: This is by far the best Harry Potter book I have read. I think everyone should start reading this ASAP! Even my teacher thought these books were great and recomends them to everyone!
Rating: Summary: An entertaining read Review: The fourth installment of the Harry Potter series takes a serious turn from the previous Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Prisoner of Azkaban. I like the way Ms. Rowling is adding a darker tone as opposed to the cheerful beginning set in the first three. There are moments of sheer terror, but it makes the story telling exciting and unforgettable. As I read the Goblet of Fire, I began to notice the set up for the final three books that will conclude the series. I throughly enjoyed reading the Goblet of Fire, for a nineteen year old that's quite a surprise. I'm looking forward to book five, the Order of the Phoenix, as we can tell that the story will surpass any predictions about its plot.
Rating: Summary: J.K Rowling did it again!!! Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a very intriguing book with many well thought out characters. Th plot is amazing with many twist and turns to leave you gasping for more. This is truly a masterpiece. One of the best fantasy novels since the Lord of the Rings. The plot combines all the major aspects of a wonderful novel in to one, such as: action, fantasy, mystery, suspence, betrayal, horror, and almost every other aspect you can imajine. The book starts with The Quittich World Cup. Something very strange happens there. The dark mark is cast! The dark mark is the sign of "you know who" and this time he may be back! It is Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts and there is a very special activity planned involving three ancient wizardoing schools that hasn't happened for centuries. The Triwizard Tournament. Do these strange accurances have anything in common? Is this some master plot to kill Harry? The only way your going to find out is if you go and read it. If you havent read the first three yet, turn of your computer right now and go get them!!! Other wise, order this book asap!!!
Rating: Summary: Best Harry Potter Book Yet Review: This is my favorite book in the Harry Potter series so far. It has just the right balance of scariness, intensity and humor. Tops all the other Harry Potter books by a mile. Introduces a new character,Winky, a house elf.
Rating: Summary: Good book Review: This is a good book, no doubt. However, I felt that the book could have been edited down a little bit. Rowling spends a good portion of the early part of book just messing around with little subplots that don't come to anything at the end. I felt that while the story was engaging as in the other books, with a little editing, this book could have been the best in the series.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Book Review: Harry Potter and the goblet of fire is a very exciting and unpredictable book. Its about an orphan boy named Harry Potter who is a wizard. He was sent to live with his aunt and uncle who want nothing to do with him. His parents were killed by the evil Lord Voldemort who tried to kill him as a baby, but the spell backfired and Harry became a household name. Now he is going back to the wizard school (Hogwarts) to his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Hermione is a very smart girl who is always at the top of her class. Ron is a very poor boy with many brothers. Now Harry is off to another year of mischief and excitement.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic fantasy Review: Password: Caput Draconi:) I must confess that the fourth book of the series is the only that I have not read yet, but I have no doubt that it is as fantastic as the first three. My country has only published the first one, because the rest have not been translated yet and books in English are practically unavailable here. I found in some bookshop a rather terrible (as to the quality) editions of the second and the third book, but there was no fourth, and they said, there won't be, either. I could, of course, have that through Internet, but unfortunately the prices there are, sorry to say, not available for a country where the best students'scholarship does not exceed 15 dollars... So I write in a pledge: has anyone in the wide wide world (www:) got a spare copy of the fourth book that he/she could share with me? There are such a great number of editions...if you, for instance, have decided to buy a new collectors'edition of the book and throw out your old one, please, don't do it, for there is a poor Potterfan far in the Eastern Europe that longs to read it! If you could help me in one or another way, I would be most thankful. You can email me to the following address: gilda_ri@yahoo.com Happy Potterreading to all!
Rating: Summary: Couldn't leave it ! Review: Amazing book, as for my point of view it is the best on the 4 yet released. I am a 22 years old man, but I found the Potter's series amazing and ultimately encouraging. I ahve bought books on sciece fiction subjects but the books by JK Rowling defently are my treasures, amazing stories, great characters, a perfect managment of the time line -with some flash backs to bring some of the history that can build up the story under development-. If you have children this is a MUST BUY, and if you are young hearted as I am this can be a experience of a life time.
Rating: Summary: A should read in the Harry Potter series!!!!! Review: This is an awesome book. Harry has another incounter with Voldemort and meets his parents. (sort of) If you look there is a mistake in the of book. James comes out before Lily! Do not be fooled it isn't a plot twist!!
