Summary: Number 4: They keep on getting better and better and...
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, what an awesome book! The fourth installment finds our hero at the Quidditch World Cup and then back to Hogwarts for his fourth year! The Triwizard Tournament is being held at the school this year and everybody's all excited, until Prof. Dumbledore restricts the entries to students older than seventeen. On the night they pick the name, the Goblet of Fire (they put their names in to enter) picked three and then...mysteriously...who's name should appear but Harry Potter's? How? Why? I think You-Know-Who... Well...that's all the fun and I wouldn't want to spoil it! It's a must read and the ending is SPECTACULAR!

The characters in these books are great! In the fourth, we see are old familiar faces, Hermione, brains brains brains, Ron, Potter's best bud, and Sirius (Harry's godfather) is back too! (Which is good, because he ROCKS!) I love the way Harry is alwasy sneaking around in that invisability cloak of his! He's so good at that! Then there are new people as well including foreign students and Rita Skeeter the most annoying reporter in the world, magic or non.

All in all a completely worthwhile read, and for me to be able to do it for a school project (read a bestseller) was just a breeze! It never gets boring, there are so many twists and turns! I can't wait for #5!

Review: It is the most wonderful book in the series I have heard so far, myhusband and I drive truck for a living we have listened to all of theHarry Potter books the fourth by far the best. I so want to hear whatis going to happen next, it tells of very good lessons of how youshould treat one another, and of course the battle between good andevil, and it is everyone's individual right to choose. Jim Dalenarrates the story so well I cannot express how wonderful it soundsand how he can make the charcaters come alive, I can see in my mindseye everything that is happening... I recommended it to my daughterand she loves the books...

Summary: Hey Parents! Read all the books - this one is the scariest
Review: Just in case you're a parent and want to know what all the fuss is about, Harry Potter is a young boy who discovers that he is the orpahned son of two well-respected magicians, being raised by ordinary and brutish relatives. Despite what the few critics say, all the books discuss self-reliance, trust and moral behavior, and sound on various themes resonant with children: loss of a parent, superpowers, and facing fears with courage. Each book describes the adventures of successive years in a magical boarding school, where Harry and his companions are being instructed in magical arts. Harry, who is kind of shy and modest, is an unwitting celebrity beacuse of his deceased parents' status - this is more usually a hindrance than help.

In Goblet of Fire, Harry is allowed to compete in a contest to determine the worldwide school champion of magic: Harry is one of the youngest ever to be allowed to compete, which causes accusations of favoritism, and some bitterness from his usually steadfast friends. The plot twists keep the reader interested all the way through the book, and the ending is a shocker.

This book is an excellent progression in this series. Don't think of it as reading a "kids' book," - Harry Potter can appeal to the misfit young adult in us all. As an adult, it would be easy to dismiss J.K. Rowling's excellent and imaginative series as another media creation - were it not for the fact that the books appeal to a wide range of ages, and inspire each reader to use their imaginations and read. Use these great books as an opportunity to share an enthusiasm with your kids, and find out how much you'll enjoy yourself!

Summary: this book is de bomb and I love you.
Review: Harry Potter is a book by J.K. Rowling and it is the greatest book I have ever read. I could not put it down I was so into it because of the action and wizard like sports. It explains what happened to the characters in the other three Harry Potter books. I want every one to read this book and I grantee that everyone that reads this book will love it as I have. I hope to spread the cheer that I have gotten from this book. This book may seem long but it is worth the time and patients.

Summary: Harry Potter
Review: I thought that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was a kind of a tough book because you had to read a lot of magic words. A book like this is not read by a lot of kids in my third grade class because word passed that it was not a good book and was stupid but I think someone could not have fun reading it so he decided that he would not let anyone else have fun reading. I have read all four books and just could not put the four books down so if you want a good book read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It is about a boy named Harry Potter who goes to a castle called Hogwarts and he gets randomly picked for a Tournament called the Triwizard Tournament but who put his name in the Goblet? Read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to learn more!

note:Read the first book first, then the second, then the third, then the fourth

Summary: A Rare Spell
Review: I've been looking for a series of books like this particular set ever since CS Lewis's "Chronicles of Narnia".That's what? A period of over 10 years? Yeah it's been awhile. Ohh I was a skeptic first (Harry who?) until I borrowed "Sorcerer's Stone" from a fellow freshman.

I'm a changed person.

The fourth book is a culmination of excitement, emotion and just plain fervent page turning reading. Word of caution - read the first three or you'll never get through this book alive (and why would you want to?Half the fun is being immersed totally in this alternate world of Rowling's). It's one of those books that begs a quick sequel - but Rowling's a hell of a marketer and the fifth installment won't be soon enough in coming for anyone.

It's amazing - the deadly serious (literally) problems that Harry encounters in this book are ever so present (nay - increase tenfold is more like it) and yet its still the kind of book a child should read, and even encourages the adult reader to look at it from perspectives that should be had once in a while (we take things way too seriously for our own good after we turn 19).The plot's development tears at the heartstrings of the reader as the scenes with Harry's parents, the death of a rival and the maturing of Harry in terms of love and courage come and go. The mystery of Snape, the powers of Dumbledore, the horror of the very, very changed world that is presented at the end of the novel is enough to make any follower of this epic just breathe with amazement at the skill of the author in creating a good story.

Buy the series if you haven't yet. Few authors create worlds where we'd want to stay as Rowling has done. This one's a keeper. I beg her to release the fifth book as soon as possible. We Muggles can only take so much after all......

Summary: Let Them Read Harry Potter!!!!
Review: I find it quite interesting that the folks who write those really crushing, insulting and long-winded reviews never seem to be able to spell, not to mention form a grammatically correct sentence. This goes for all books, not just Harry Potter by the way.

So Rowling isn't the best writer who had ever lived. So what? I've read so-called best sellers that do not reach up to her ankles. The story is engaging and entertaining and if you are too sophisticated to be able to take a little predictability then it's your bad luck. How realistic and "believable" do want a book to be? This is supposed to be an escape from reality, not a repetition of your day at work.

As to the ending... if you are one of those over-protective parents who attempt to screen their kids from anything BAD, you might want to read this first. As far as I'm concerned, a little violence in a book doesn't hurt. As a child I've always reveled in a direct threat to the main character. I wanted to be SCARED. It made my stomach tingle. And guess what? I'm not out there shooting up school classrooms. I have, quite literally, never hurt a fly. I think we're too worried about what kind of example books and media give to our children. THEY DON'T - WE AS THE PARENTS DO. The media are meant as entertainment and release, and as long as we are our kids' role models that is all they will be.

Read on. Just for the fun of it. Don't play the critic, just enjoy it.

Summary: Best Potter Book Yet
Review: I'm 20 years old, and I've just been introduced to Harry Potter and his wonderful friends. I can't believe it took me this long to take the advice of my friends and read J.K. Rowling's books. They are the best books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I bought all four in hardback and I read them in two days. These books are addicting. I think Goblet of Fire is the best so far, and I can't wait for the fifth in the series. I've become a diehard fan and I love these books!

Review: If this rewiew have spell errors, I'm Sorry; I'm from Latinoamerica. That is the best book tan I read. If you think that the others are good, NO, That IS THE BETTER. Using details thath in the other books aren't importants, Rowling made a large and surprisely story. I can't Over-take to you, Readers, about the complete sory, but is the best of the fourth books. warning: Harry Potter may be adictive. If you read it you can't wait for the next book.
