Summary: For Kids? NOT!
Review: The first three books were fun and charming. I can see why there was so much hype in anticipation for the fourth book. What happened? Putting aside the horrible editing job which resulted in pointless overused dialogue, dangling sub-plots etc... - the tone of the Harry Potter series has left the realm of children's books. I am in my 30s and I found "the death" to be one of the cruelest things I've ever read - not even taking into account that this book is aimed for people 9-12! I don't see how the author can recapture the tone set in the first three books after the very dark turn the story has taken. It's like all along we've been sucking on this delicious lollipop only to find that the center is not very tasty at all. A very disturbing book.

Summary: Why do they only let you give five stars?!
Review: This has got to be one of my most favorite books of all time. I think the HP books are getting better and better. (Not to dis the first book, of course!) If you like, action, humor, sports, romance, and a great book, this one is for you!!! If you haven't read it yet, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE READ IT!!!!!

Summary: Awsome book, but a letdown in the series.
Review: The 4th books in this series is wonderful, imagenative, and even a little thought-provoking. The "Mad-eye" end was suprising and made this book a page-turner. And to people who say this needed to be shorter I say, "If six-year-olds can read it, why can't you?" I loved the volume of it, because I was getting tired of my favorite fantasy books being only 100 pages long. The only bad thing about it was end, where Voldemort seems to win. I hope this will be rectafied in the next book. It is still a definate must-read.

Summary: Amazing piece of literature
Review: This book is the best of the series so far. All of the Harry Potter books are amazing and they all have a very smooth transition from one to the other which is what keeps the reader hooked. I bought the Goblet of Fire when it first came out and it was the last copy that the bookstore had!!! This book is just fantastic; there are so many words to describe it. The emotions in this book are so well written that you feel the anger, the pain, the happiness and the sorrows of all of the people in the book. Especially at the end of the tournament when Lord Voldemort turns into a real force to be reckoned with and Cedric is killed. I felt Cedric's parents pain when Harry took Cedric's body back home, I think that was the most saddest part of the whole Harry Potter series and the most well written I believe. The way that Ms. Rowling potrayed that whole incident was so realistic that I felt I was going through the whole thing first hand, that I was actually in the book! I would recommend this book to everyone I know regardless of what their age group is, though I myself am much older than the age group this book was written for but this is one series that can be loved by people of all ages.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: A Review by Sara
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling is completely riveting. You can get lost inside another world and you will never want to come back. It is truly a magical experience. When you read it you wander into a whole new universe where you do not have to think about your problems or troubles. You can feel what it is like to be a young wizard and explore so many new possibilities. It is imaginative yet educational at the same time. You can discover new words or learn what to do when your best friend becomes jealous or rude. It is, without a doubt, the best Harry Potter book that J. K. Rowling has written so far. It is completely enchanting and captivating. It makes it seem like anything is possible, even magic. I could read it over and over again and never get tired of it. It teaches readers to be proud, stand up for themselves, and feel sympathy towards others. Harry Potter makes children enjoy reading more and it is even good for adults. It is definitely a book for the whole family.

Summary: Too many words! Should have been edited!
Review: I read this book to my 8-year old son and it took us 7 months! The story is fascinating and enjoyable as are the other Harry Potter books, but if you're going to read to your child, I recommend numbers 1 to 3. This book was 734 pages and when you read only 5 or 10 pages a night, you feel like nothing has happened! In my opinion Ms. Rowling has used far too much detail, such as explaining how the witches and wizards get to the Quidditch World Cup via a portkey. This information was important later, but surely not in such depth. We read the climax twice because Harry relates it in detail to Dumbledore. Many of the conversations were also lengthy without building plot. The story got to be very complicated and some of the vocabulary was also difficult for my 8-year-old to understand. (His favorite is Harry Potter Nr. 3.) It all adds up to a fascinating story padded into an unnecessarily long book.

Summary: People's Reviews Were Terrible!
Review: ...I believe that this book is excellent because J.K. Rowling displays a wonderful example of freedom of speech, this book gives people a view on what ia a prized piece of liturature and a model for fantasy. This book has educational value because it demonstrates correct format and, although no religious concepts tackled right off, enriches young children to young adults minds with reading skills as well as proper use of mechanics.

Summary: This is a MUST read
Review: One of the best books ever written (my point of view only). All four novels are definite works of art. They all will be remembered in many years to come. Jumping on the Harry Potter bandwagon pretty late, I'm well read in most well known authors and also lesser lights too. But I can say with much honesty that this book is one of the best ever written. It triggers emotions of all sorts from humour to great saddness. And it does this and more, and is written in the most simple fashion that it can be read on and on without any real need for brain strain. Aimed at children, but can be read by all ages. This book is a must for all.

Summary: the best book out there
Review: I think you ought to read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It is extremely good. I like the part when Harry gets picked for the Triwizard Tournament. My favorite part is at the end.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very Pivotal
Review: I believed that book three was pivotal; however after reading 4 I stand corrected. It was definelty and interesting twist with Cedric Diggory dying. I still think that in the end Professor Snape will turncoat. I hope somewhere down the line Dudley Dursley looses wait and his parents get some kind of rude awakening for the mistreatment of Harry. I am eagerly anticipating Book 5
