Summary: More info for fans of Froud's faeries:
Review: I am the editor/co-author of Good Faeries/Bad Faeries, and would like to mention to fans of Brian Froud's wonderful faery art that there have been three adult novels published based on this work: my own novel, THE WOOD WIFE; Patricia A. McKillip's SOMETHING RICH AND STRANGE; and Charles de Lint's THE WILD WOOD. Each book is "modern mythic fiction" set in North America, filled with faeries, folklore, and inspired by Brian Froud's luminous mythic visions. We hope you'll seek them out.

Summary: This book is just wonderful!!!!!
Review: I bought this book about a year ago,and Brian Froud's work is
just amazing. The pictures look so real, like you can just reach out and touch the faeries.I have loved faeries ever since I was a
child, and when I would look at some of the pictures,I would cry.
Some of the pictures look like the faces I see when I look at a bush, tree,or flower. And I'm not ashamed to say I see faeries all
the time.I will definitely buy all of Brian Froud's books.

Summary: Beautiful beyond my wildest dreams.
Review: I cannot begin to describe how I felt when I opened this enchanting, insightful book and saw the beings of faery magically depicted at my fingertips. This book joins my collection of other works by Froud; Faeries, Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book. One question that I have to ask is, why hasn't Alan Lee done some more recent works in the faery range? I simply love this book, as the faeries are depicted with no superficiality, or rosy-cheeked innocence, and the information is invaluable. Good Faeries/Bad Faeries, gives us a priceless insight to the world of faery, which is nearer than we thought. It has helped me acknowledge the faery presence in our everyday lives, and although unhappily as yet they remain invisible to me, I can see them in my minds eye; beautiful, grotesque, good, evil, large and small, and in this book. This is one of the many books I will treasure forever.

Summary: This book is utterly amazing!
Review: I didn't know anything about faeries or had any interest in them before I read this book. Now, I have 4 books on faeries, and I love them! Out of all of the books, this is my favorite!! The illustrations and creativity in it was amazing. I loved how it described the personalities of the faeries, and it also told me a lot about what faeries actually are. I would recommend this book to anyone!!

Summary: Wow!
Review: I have never seen a book like this before. I was inspired by the pictures, educated by the captions, and moved by the overall set up of the book. One side you have all the good faries, bright and shiny and inspiring, with a little bit of humor. And on the flip side you have all the little trouble makers, and know you finally have a name for them. I loved this book, and made me buy more by Brian Froud.

Summary: I loved this book as much as I loved the other ones by Froud
Review: I have only read 3 of the books Brian Froud has put out, but I can tell you that I plan on getting all the other books too, even though they are out of print. this book especially is one that struck me, the content involves good faeries as well as bad faeries as he title plainly states, which is something I never really thought about: bad faeries, I never thought they could exist. I just recently got into the faerie world and I am rather new at this, but from Froud's books I am getting lots of information, not just the everyday information, but useful imformation. But I also noticed that in all thrre of the books I have read there is a picture in there that has a striking resemblance to Froud himself. You might have to look closely, and then you might not, but either way it is still there, if you haven't noticed them try looking, just flip through the picture's I'm sure you'll see them too. If you don't know what Froud looks like check out the inside of the dust jacket for Good Faeries/ Bad Faeries. trust me, if you look, you'll know what I am talking about.
