Review: After a long wait... finally, another EXCELLENT book by Brian Froud. As Usual, the book is full of BREATHTAKINGLY Beautiful Illustrations and very INFORMATIVE stuff about faeries. If you love faeries, this is ANOTHER MUST HAVE book... if you still don't believe in faeries..THIS is still a MUST BUY book... you will be brought to a magical world that is beyond words.

Review: Ah, I remember that day. Just browsing the bookstore when this book caught my eye. I went ahead looking at other things but it kept tugging at me. I had always had a love of the fae and decided I'd give it a look. I knew instantly as I held the book in my hands, before I even opened it, that I had to have it. Upon opening it I was drawn into a state of awe. With each page I flipped I became more enthralled. Who painted these I wondered! And to my surprise when I looked at the artist, and what he had done, Mr. Froud had been a part of my life for some time now, I just never knew it. All those years ago when I grew up with Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal, watching my videos till the tape ran thin. I longed to find that magic in something again. And I truely found it in this book. Upon taking my purchase home, I learned there was another book done by Mr Froud. There was no question, I knew I had to have it. Since then, I have purchased the first Faerie book, and the Faerie Oracle and I can truely say that it has given me something that I belive I was always searching for. What these books has given me is something that I wish to share with everyone. Buy this book, it will open your vision to a whole new world.

Review: An excellent book for people who enjoy Fantasy Art and anything related to faeries and goblins. Bryan Froud developed this great book from beautiful faeries to the grotesque, he takes his immagination to a different level. Bryan Froud worked with Jim Henson in "The Dark Crystal" and several images from "Good Faeries, Bad Faeries" were adapted for Jim Henson's film. There are other books that may accompany "Good Faeries and Bad Faeries" and that is the one by his wife Wendy Froud "The Winter Child" and "Midsummer's Night Faery Tale".

Review: Being a huge fan of Brian Froud, i bought the book with closed eyes, but was more than what i bargained for. The book is absolutly amazing. Inspires you and make you think twice before you say you don't believe in faeries! Brian Froud is just amazing!!Nobody can draw like him. You will have the time of your life with this book!! Mine, is in right beside my bed. You, your kids, doesn't matter the age,you all are going to love it!

Highly, HIGHLY illustrated, this book is amazing in every way!!
This book is swamped with Brian's unique, and brilliant artwork. Half of the book is "good" fairies featuring artwork of the specific fairy, and some information about each one. This is the really COOL part......you flip the book over, then upside down, and it becomes the "bad" fairies! What a neat concept for a book! Of my entire collection of Froud books, this is my favorite. If you're starting a fantasy book collection, or shopping for your first Brian Froud book, start here, you won't be disappointed! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Summary: A beautiful volume of faery lore and art
Review: First, I should confess that I bought this book in order to complete my library of Terri Windling titles, knowing nothing about the artist. Little did I know that the artist, Brian Froud, is one of the master "faery painters" of our day, and an artistic genius whose work I've enjoyed for years (through the films Dark Crystal and Labyrinth) without knowing his name. So once again I have Ms. Windling to thank for expanding my artistic horizons, just as she has expanded my literary horizons over many years. This is not a book for children, but a serious (if also whimsical) and sensuous look at faery legends, symbols and imagery. The text by Mr. Froud (with Ms. Windling's distinctive touch and guidance) is splendid, the pictures are fascinating. I highly recommend this book for the library of every fan of myth, legend, and nature lore. I would also recommend the lovely children's book by Mr. Froud's wife, Wendy Froud, also in collaboration with Ms. Windling. I give my thanks to all three of you for opening the door to this wondrous world.

Summary: i absolutely love it!
Review: From the first time i saw this book i was drawn to it. i begged my mom to buy it for me but it was a bit pricey.A few months went by and my birthday came around. As i was unwrapping presents, one of them caught my eye so i opened it and it was this fantastic book. I was overjoyed!At the time, i was twelve. I am now fifteen and have since gotten Faeries(the book done by Froud and Lee)and have not stopped reading either of them. They are, without a doubt, my favorites!!!

Review: Good Faeries/Bad Faeries is a wonderful book, which in no suprise, considering everything Brian Froud is involved with is great. i also have an original printing of the pressed faery book, strange stains and mysterious smells, and faeries. i cant get enough of this guy.
