Summary: Bruce Mahan-University Chemistry
Review: A classic text for students and others having a basic idea of chemistry at the high-school level. The book covers Physical&general,Inorganic &also Organic chemistry.The section of Phys.chem. and Gen.chem. has been treated superbly with special emphasis on topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding,Equilibrium,Energetics... The coverage of org. chem. is quite scarce which I think could have been a bit better.But taking into account the book as a whole,I say that it is and will continue to be a sure shot success recipe at the university level.
