Rating: Summary: Only book in this field, but first edition was better Review: This is the second edition of the book with the yellow cover (ASIN: 1550090755). The main difference is the shift to problem based learning - each chapter begins with a clinical scenario which is followed through the chapter to explain the functioning of the nerve. But each example can only cover a narrow subset of the possible nerve misfunction, so this approach makes the detail uneven. The cranial nerves are a fascinating enough subject not to need this approach to keep me interested, and as a craniosacral therapist I wanted more detail. Note also that although the entire book comes on the CD-ROM as a .pdf, this file is protected and you will not be able to print any of the images separately, which would have been nice for my own learning.
