Review: Dr. Kini uses excellent color photographs that illustrate the criteria for the cytology she is describing, which for such a visual field as cytology it is essential to have a visual reference. The book is excellent reference for everyday use when difficult and challenging cases face both cytotechnologists and pathologists. A must for all in cytology.
Rating: Summary: A must have for practicing cytology! Review: Dr. Kini's book has excellent color pictures that illustrate the criteria she describes in words. This book is my favorite "go-to" book when I have a challenging or difficult case to diagnose.
Rating: Summary: Color Atlas of Differential Diagnosis in Exfoliative and Asp Review: I have been helped immensely by using this book in reporting the smears prepared by me . The tabulated form of information saves my valuable time while reporting cytopathology. The only drawback about the book which I have felt is the small sizes of the photographs and the legends are very much confusing while in hurry. I believe that the legends or the footnotes must be below every photograph and not at the bottom of the page. Also the material on lymphnode cytopathology is not adequate. A valiant effort to put a vast subject of cytopathology in such a concise manner. A book must for one practising cytopathology.
