Summary: Beyond Classroom Textbook
Review: I came into contact with this book in a graduate level class "Globalization of World Cities." I have read numerous books and text on the subject matter, and this book is far the best I have ever come into contact with.

This book is very concise, covers many of the aspects of globalization, and is written for the public (lacks the standard jargon in other books). This book is a very fair analysis of the phenomenon that is globalization, and does not linger on the economical aspect. I must say though, that it does not cover the environmental effects of globalization, and those who are most interested in that phenomenon will be let down by the text.
