Review: This book is clearly written. It is simple yet not simplistic. It would be helpful to the first time researcher as well as those who have manipulated census data before but do not do it for a living. I found useful information on how to best configure my graphs, what pitfalls to avoid and how to handle data that was collected and recorded differently in previous census counts. There is some discussion of analysis and some examples are given but these are not the focus of the book.
