Summary: Super text for teaching the essentials of research.
Review: Although some of the examples are dated, this is a fantastic text for teaching the basics of all aspects biological research, from planning, execution and analysis of results to writing abstracts and publishable articles. Great for undergrads and graduate students as well. Professors who choose this text won't have to go around picking and chooseing bits and pieces from diverse sources.
