Review: It is not easy to find a good book about any kind of non-linear phenomena, such as plasticity or viscous-elasticity. I found this book very complete and clear. It has a brief introduction to elasticity and plasticity, followed by the theory of viscous-elastic materials. I gave four stars to it because it is a reprint and not a new book. For this reason some more recent concepts of viscous-elastic materials are not shown, but it steal is an excellent introductory book.
