Rating: Summary: excellent text for the resident Review: A concise, thorough, and readable textbook of peripheral nerve pathology. Great for residents in training. The text is very understandable and gives a great flavor of the problems.
Rating: Summary: Authoritative and Readable Review: This fine book is an excellent reference volume on peripheral nerve injuries. It is organized in an anatomically topical manner with chapters covering all major divisions of the peripheral nervous system. Each chapter reviews the anatomy of that division (eg, brachial plexus, median nerve, etc), the clinical phenomenology and pathology of characteristic nerve injuries, diagnosis, clinical electrophysiology, and management. It is written clearly and organized well with good illustrations. This book is my chosen reference when dealing with focal peripheral nerve problems. I haven't seen a competitor volume that is as comprehensive or as clear. Recommended as a component of the standard bookshelf of all neurologists.
