However, there are few close-ups of the instruments, and instruments that are similar but different sizes are shown separately, so one has no idea of how to distinguish the two from each other. While there are a few photos of close-ups of the tips of instruments, these photos are blurry and are not much help. If you're looking for general information about surgical instruments, go ahead and buy this book, but if you're about to go to work in an OR, you'll need a different manual to help you tell the instruments apart.
