Rating: Summary: Very well done Review: "Basic Trauma Life Support" is a great look at trauma and advanced emergency care. The illustrations make the book easy to follow. Can really be valuable for anyone who may have to respond to a medical emergency. Good reading for firefighters/Paramedics/First Responders. The chapters are laid out in an easy to read and understand format. The most common trauma cases are dealt with to the degree that the book's target audience would need to know. This is the 3rd edition and if the 4th is an improvement on this I look forward to reading it. My only issue with the book is some of the drawings are a little difficult to understand. The chapter bibliographies are thorough and helpful as well.
Rating: Summary: Good review about the basic,Great illustrations and pictures Review: This book makes a excellent review about the most important skills you need to know. The best part for me is the airway managent skills cause is easy to understand and have good pictures, also important is the part about the management of head trauma conforms to the brain trauma fundation. The problem is that it dont talk about pharmacology and cardiac management. This book have great ilustrations and images with full collor. Good idea If you live out of the USA or if this is your first experience buying Paramedic books by the net. AYAX SOBRINO SAAVEDRA
