Review: Possibly the single problem with the original version of "Convective Boiling and Condensation" by J.G. Collier was that it was getting too old. After the update made in the last versions with the work by J.R. Thome, the book has been renewed recovering the role of a fundamental textbook to be considered for both teaching and research. It is full of the best explanations you can find about several basic heat transfer mechanisms and provides precious suggestions for further reading and more in depth study. A nice book indeed.
