Summary: An exercise in alien disinformation?
Review: Dolores Cannon may be a sincere, honest, and well-meaning person who has learned hypnotism, but it takes more than a sincere hypnotist to create a book that is worth reading. One expects, at a minimum, the ability to write grammatically correct English and a mind better stocked than that of the average high-school student.

The formula for success in publishing today seems to be give the dismal average what he or she would like to hear most, some variant of the Disney 'Happy Days! Happy sky!' myth, and one that requires no more of the writer or reader than a Disney level of knowledge. Here is a brief summary of Cannon's variant:

'Yes, we are great guys and the aliens love us. In fact, they created us to be perfect beings. If only some pesky germ-laden comet hadn't slammed into the earth bringing disease! It's also true that we seem to be destroying the planet. But that's OK because the aliens are readying a nice new planet for us to move to after we have utterly wrecked this, one that will be free of disease and where we are to be made more "spiritual." After that we'll get a chance to create our very own new world "as a playground for future scientists to try the adaptation of lifeforms," (p.16) but the public probably won't get to know much about it because it will exist on a need to know basis, etc., etc.'

If you would like to read an intelligent, informed, and serious study of the UFO abductee phenomenon, you should consider reading David M. Jacobs' 'The Threat.' In contrast to Cannon, Jacobs is a trained historian and has a certain amount of learning. He is also skilled in techniques of hypnotic regression, and he takes great pains in his book to explain and illustrate the errors an unwary hypnotist can easily fall into. Finally, and perhaps most important, his English is that of an educated person and he seems far less concerned with writing something popular than with telling the truth, no matter how unpalatable that truth may be to the dismal average.

My conclusion? Either Dolores Cannon has been taken for a ride or she is taking us for one. Either way, 'The Custodians' seems little more than an exercise in alien disinformation. Frankly, if I were you, I would look elsewhere for the truth.

Summary: Incredible - mind expanding ideas
Review: Even if you think "humans are the ultimate of creation" you need to read this book because it's an education about energy, and so many other possibilities. This is a book you won't want to end.

Summary: A must read for those curious about the alien presense
Review: First of all, I have personally met Delores Cannon. She is a very sincere, genuinely likable woman who is dedicated to uncovering the mysteries that may ultimately do much good in helping humanity find it's direction.

This book is truly a 'wake up call' - in that it sheds light on underground sinister operations. We have been duped by our own government (no suprise) and once again the wool covers our blind eyes.

Find out the real reasons for the alien presense - READ THIS BOOK!

Summary: The biggest breakthroughs so far!
Review: Having read numerous books on the subject of alien abductions over the last fifteen years or so, I eventually discovered that the information contained in the different books came together like a vast puzzle. Several years ago, I read an amazing book by Ray Fowler called "The Watchers". In that book the aliens tell Mr. Fowler's subject that more and more information about themselves will be revealed as time passes and people become more "prepared" to accept their (the aliens) existence.

Indeed, in the time that has passed since that book's release, the so-called "greys" have become a part of our pop-culture. Millions of dollars worth of merchandise has been sold over the last few years depicting the aliens with the unforgettable large, black eyes; everything from stuffed dolls to skateboards. As our culture has come to embrace these beings without quite realizing it, these aliens have indeed revealed their motives through subjects working with investigators such as Budd Hopkins, Dr. Mack, and the author of "The Custodians", Dolores Cannon.

What makes "The Custodians" so breathtaking is the fact that Ms. Cannon actually speaks directly to various alien beings, using her subjects as transmitters. Dolores Cannon immediately becomes a very endearing woman to the reader, as she conducts her work in a completely non-exploitative way. Her first and foremost concern in every one of her cases is for her subject, and I must admit that she is the most caring investigator I have studied in that respect. I believe that if most investigators were given the opportunity to speak directly with these mysterious aliens and ask them any question they wished, they would be so excited and amazed that they would neglect the well-being of their subject. Ms. Cannon's deep sensitivity is apparently why these aliens have chosen her to receive this information, and throughout the book it becomes obvious that she is the perfect choice.

"The Custodians" ranks as the most important book to date on the alien abduction phenomenon since Whitley Strieber's "Communion". This, however, does not mean that a complete skeptic could pick up this book and become an instant believer. This is not a book intended to make people realize we are not alone, but is instead geared toward explaining who our universal "neighbors" are and what their true intentions are toward us. I believe that in order for the information in this book to be understood the reader must have previously accepted the fact that these aliens do indeed exist, which may require reading an earlier book on the subject. I write this knowingly as I clearly remember seeing Whitley Strieber on a national morning show promoting "Communion" and laughing openly at what he was saying, not believing a word of it. Of course, that book fatefully made it's way into my hands and changed my beliefs forever. If I had never read that book I fear that I would have remained a closed-minded disbeliever.

To anyone who has followed this amazing phenomenon, "The Custodians" is truly a must read. The number of questions answered in this book is amazing and many of the mysteries about who these beings are and what they are doing here are finally solved. Dolores Cannon is truly amazing in her work, and it seems as if more is yet to come. Truly unforgettable.

Review: Having read the fears expressed through all of Dr Jacob's own books, I found The Custodians to not only be a far more compelling insight into this phenomena, but as my own research becomes deeper, true....

Summary: It's a page turner
Review: I couldn't wait to read the next section in this fascinating book. Dolores relays to us the direct testimony of a few contactees. And she herself, while not an experiencer, is delightfully honest and simple. I found the testimony fascinating and very revealing and am anxious to read the sequel, which I've ordered. It seems to me that something really big is happening, and I dare say something wonderful. Books like these are the first signs of a stunning reality that I believe is now gradually unfolding.
