Summary: Good catalyst to generate discussion on current issues
Review: I am considering this book as a supplement in a freshman college class on Environment and People. It has enough breadth to be readily interwoven with many classic environmental science texts. It may not be enough as a stand-alone text for a course, but opens enough isssues to generate discussion and allow for more detailed expansion.
