Review: This is the 1st of 2 books written by Dr. Bluestein to teach synoptic and dynamic meteorology to undergraduate college students. Unlike other textbooks, this textbook takes the time to show alot more of the steps in the derivation of equations used in meteorology. Of course this has added to the size of the book but the fact that the author has taken the care to include this in his book is quite helpful for those learning meteorology. It is a useful reference book.
