While governance continues to be accutely territorial and splintered, the extent of environmental problems is increasingly transboundary. This book, while very interdisciplinary, is firmly grounded in political theory and applied policy analysis. Dr. Hempel successfully and forcefully demonstrates how changes such as the adoption of green technologies, human population stabilization, and the adoption of sustainable lifestyles are both necessary and achievable.
