Forgotten Fleet: The Mothball Navy

Review: Very poorly researched and appears to have been prepared through the primary use of the Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships and photos from the National Archives. It comes through that the author is unfamiliar with the subject matter, and I am surprised and dismayed the the Naval Institute Press released something of this quality. Many other members agree. There is an old adage about writing - stick with what you know. Madsen tried, but the book doesn't make the grade.
