Review: The introduction to this book, which is translated from English, is probably one of the most revealing and telling commentaries on the nature of man. The translation is excellent and you can tell what an intelligent person De Gaulle was. Excellent book to understand the mind and character of the soldier. Again, the intro is beautifully written.
