Review: Dr Trahair is a Consulting Psychologist at LA Trobe University in Australia. He has written a 175 page book relating his personal experience in undergoing total joint replacement of his hip with additional personal histories of 14 other individuals. If hip replacement is in your immediate future you will find your counterpart among them. I am Jack Kelley author of "On Being Hip" which outlines my own experience with the problem of degenerative joint disease. It is also available through amazon. I recommend that those with these problems obtain Dr. Trahair's book, a view from downunder that you will find rewarding and informative.
