Ms. Zgola has done it again! Her first book "Doing Things" set the standards for realistic and meaningful interaction with persons with dementia and her new book continues in the same ground breaking manner. Her insight and practical approaches to caregiving help both the personal and professional caregiver maximize the remaining abilities of the person with dementia. A "must read" for anyone who works with or knows someone with dementia.

Review: This is the most practical and informative book about caring for persons with Alzheimer's I have seen. It helped me see the person I am caring for as someone who is trying hard to cope with problems. Now that I can understand more clearly what he is dealing with, I am better able to help him instead of just doing things for him. It is informative, enjoyable and even made me laugh. I loved it and will keep refering to it often.
