Summary: A very comprehensive, easy to read book on consciousness
Review: An hour before I was to leave for my Paris honeymoon, a severe migraine headache came over me. My sister had just completed Marilyn Gordon's hypnotherapy course in Oakland, and offered to perform "tapping" to relieve my pain. Within minutes the pain disappeared. I've since read Marilyn's book twice and have learned how to do the tapping on myself, as well as several other energy therapy techniques. The book is very down to earth and quite easy to read, whether you're a novice to spirituality or an experienced healer. The information in her book has made a profound difference in my everyday life: pain management, energy flow, and relationship enhancement.

Review: I bought the book for my husband who just finished an intense few months absorbed in Dahn Hak Yoga. He was so excited to get it, but then I found it a few weeks later in our stack to give to charity. He didn't find what he needed in there... good luck.

Review: I consider Marilyn Gordon a wonderful mentor and wise teacher. I have purchased most of her materials and use them in my own practice. My work has become much more compassionate and powerful under the inspiration of Marilyn. Extraordinary Healing is professionally written and filled with wonderful healing practices for anyone on the spiritual path. We are self-healers, and Marilyn gives us the necessary tools for personal transformation. This book is written clearly. The tools are efficient and effective. I am so grateful that Spirit led me to Marilyn!

Summary: A profound, clearly written book for healing on all levels
Review: Marilyn is an excellent writer and a person who has walked a healing path personally and professionally for a long time. This book is clearly written for both the lay person, and for those who are practitioners and fellow hypnotherapists. Marilyn brings so much wisdom and insight into this healing program, but it doesn't have a crammed, overwhelmed or heavy feeling. It has a lot of space, clarity, peace and breathing room within the phrases and thoughts. Marilyn discusses a manageable program for profound healing on all levels... emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. She incorporates the best of what's out there in the healing field, and repeats in an encouraging way that all healing is a shift in the mind and heart and soul which involves an embracing of understanding, forgiveness and compassion. Her writing gives such great encouragement to do this work of deep healing. She also explains about a profound energy tapping technique that breaks up "old stuck stuff." Thanks, Marilyn, for this book. It's a work of art and a credit to you as a healer and a writer. You are putting forth the new paridigm in healing.
