Summary: Golf is a game that matures like wine
Review: And like fine wines, if you intend for things to turn out well in the long term, you have to set the starting conditions up right. Hospitals and clinics (and golf courses) are packed with people living in pain as a result of unwise swinging. Since it has long ago been determined that timing and flexibility, more than strength and aggression, are the keys to consistency and power in golf, you might be interested in an approach that prepares your body for just that. Simple, direct, and backed by valid research. This book will bring results. It is a great contribution to sports medicine. More pars to you!

Summary: Poor organization, ok information, lack of programs
Review: As a serious golfer, I want to change my exercise routine for golf. These were already exercises I was doing with a trainer as well as in other books. I specifically wannted more on aerobic training, nutrition and how to train before golf season and during(seems to be my biggest problem). I want to know why and when, this didn't do it. Might only be $10, but if I got to see the book first, I wouldn't have gotten it. I want it all spelled out with some justification, this wasn't the ticket.

Summary: Not even good basic fitness book
Review: Golf is a complicated game, and this just doesn't cover it. I found no rationale for wanting to exercise for golf from this book, so it is good I am alread doing something!!

Summary: Incomplete, I want more!!!
Review: I exercise regularly, wanted to make my program more golf-specific. I wanted much more information on aerobic training and weight training, especially specific programs before the golf season. This wasn't it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Im am very happy with this book
Review: I want thank the authors for this fun and helpful golf exercise book. Ive definitely noticed a difference in my game after using this program.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Every SERIOUS Golfer Must Read This!
Review: If you think the program outlined here is simple, you're right. If you don't think it works, you're probably short, left, and OB. The exercises within have helped me, a golfer in his forties, add thirty yards to my drives, and have increased my flexibility tremendously. I enjoy the game more, and now sport a single-digit handicap as well. Dr. Jobe is a genius!

Summary: OK book, needs an update
Review: Not a bad book, just a little outdated from some of the information and training techniques the trainers use at my athletic club. Doesn't show enough stomach work in my estimation or work with common weight machines.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Just what golfers need.
Review: The authors of this book obviously did their home work on this easy to follow home exercise program, that is simple to do and has been effective for me and my students. I recommend this book to everyone I teach. Unfortunately the individual from Chicago is confused and must not be a golfer.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is brilliant!
Review: The exercises recommended by Dr. Jobe and his colleagues work! They have helped me get from a 15 to a 7 handicap, by increasing my trunk stability, and allowing me to achieve a full shoulder turn. My shots have greater length and accuracy, and I feel better at the end of eighteen holes. I recommend this to anyone looking to improve their game and willing to put in the hard work to follow the routine.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Simplistic and outdated approach to fitness for golf
Review: The guys on the tour have to be doing alot more than this simplistic and outdated approach. I want to train seriously for golf, and this isn't the ticket. Before I would recommend this to anyone, I'd have them get anything else including a bodybuilding book. Put together in a hurry as well, I want some rationale for what I am doing.
