Summary: Handy Reference Work
Review: I was attracted to the clear photographs and the concise information in this book. This is an excellent reference with a collection of the major finds in Europe. As a student I would read about a find in an article. With this book I was able to quickly look the fossils up. This book allows the reader to either become familiar with certain remains or gain specific information about bone dimensions. Either way, this book will prove to be an important part of any physical anthropologist's library for years to come. It is certainly worth the investment.
