Review: As a student, I used this book in both undergraduate and graduate study. It presented the theory and pratical design of hydrology, erosion/sediment control and various other topics in a straight forward manner. Higher mathematics are only presented in order to explain rationale behind theory. The material presented is the result of years of research by the foremost authorities in sediment & erosion control. The methods and designs are presently state-of-the-art. Furthermore, as an engineer, I find this book an invaluable reference in my library and refer to it on a regular basis.
