Summary: Hard to take offense
Review: The text of this book is not quite as catchy as Max the Minnow, but I don't agree with [a review] about the language. "Bone-head" refers to a dinosaur with bony head, and "Nut-brain" refers to a dinosaur with an extremely tiny head and, yes, a brain the size of a nut. So, if you... take offense... I'm afraid you missed the point. Still, if it's the googly eyes attracting you to the book, best to go with Max the Minnow. It's a little more fun to read.

Summary: My 10 month loves this book
Review: This book is a must have. My son received this book as a gift at 5 months and he was intriged from the minute we began reading it. First, the googly eyes captured his attention, now he loves to listen to us read with a huge smile on his face. He'll drop everything and coming crawling/walking over to us. We read this book every night and morning - sometimes twice in a row. Unlike other books, he never gets tired of it.

Summary: Ten Little Dinosaurs
Review: This book is fiction. It is about Ten Little dinosaurs. It takes place in many different places. Each page one Dino disappears. The book counts down from ten to zero. The author likes to rhyme on every page. I liked this book because it teaches kids how to count from zero to ten and teaches kids about the different types of Dinosaurs.

Summary: Know your dinosaurs!
Review: This great hardcover book has googly, wiggly eyes built into it that can be seen from every page. The "Ten Little Dinosaurs" tale is told in rhyming fashion, as each group of dinos learns a lesson (much like the "five little monkeys" song). The last little dinosaur becomes extinct. The last pages of the book has a dino glossary with gives the pronunciation on each name and a small description of their behavior. We've had this book for 5 years, and it's still one of the kids' favorites.

Summary: This book is Awesome!
Review: This is one of my Boys' favorite books! I have a three year old and a two year old and they both love it. I have been reading this book to them since they were born and it has always been one of their favorite books! The best part about the book is that I love to read it! I am always so excited when they pick this one for me to read. I could never get tired of this book!!!

The one draw back is that the eyes can come out, but before they did it was one of their favorite features. Even if they do come out the book is still fun, and they are way to big to be a choking hazard.

Summary: Ten Little Dinosaurs
Review: This is the best little book I have picked up in a long time. It is one of those books that will be handed up to a Gramma from those precious innocent hands to be read over and over again. The googling rolling eyes on the cover to the perfect rhyming words,it will undoubtedly be your childs favorite!

Summary: Not for polite children
Review: We were appalled when we began reading this book to our two year old. A book that includes words like "boneheads," "nut-brains," "big mouths," etc. should not be in the form of a book geared to young children. Board books teaching counting are usually aimed at young children, and should also not include "The sun burnt Triceratops into dried up bones," policemen yelling, and dentists shouting. This book is the opposite of the polite words and behaviors we try to teach our two year old. Needless to say, after censoring the first reading to our son, this book never made it to the bookshelf. We are sorely disappointed.

Summary: Bought before the baby...
Review: While Christmas shopping one year with my Mother-in-law we came across this book and I said she HAD to buy this for one of her grandchildren. She finally broke down and lo-and-behold...I got it for Christmas! This is the cutest "10 Little" book I have ever seen and the googly eyes are a riot! My 4 month old daughter loves to grab at the eyes and mommy's embellishment of such lines as "No more sharp-tooths munching on a mooth." This is a great book if you enjoy reading and want to share that with your kids (of any age!)
