Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent - Biblical view of creation, dinosaurs
Review: This book is similar to David Unfred's book about the Bible and dinosaurs (dragons, monsters, serpents), and both are good for children if you want the Christian perspective on the matter. See what Genesis says about how young our earth is. See what happened to the dinosaurs and many other animals who became fossils (in the great flood of Noah's time). Man and dinosaur did live together, but climatic changes after the flood and hunting brought on their demise (or at least the demise of most of them). There is still evidence that their may be some of these creatures in the oceans and in remote parts of the world. The Biblical mentions in Job of behemoth and leviathan open up a whole new perspective for Christians who were not familiar with this and the truth of Genesis is upheld. There are color and black and white illustrations for the children to look at while you read to them. This book and David Unfred's book "Dinosaurs and the Bible" are both good. They address generally the same topic, but each brings out some different aspects on the topic (see also my comments on Unfred's book as they would apply to this book, also). I highly recommend both to parents. "There was no death until Adam sinned."

Summary: This is awful
Review: This book is very dangerous. Children will be mislead by it. I cannot believe that some people do not understand that the Great Flood is a STORY. It is a myth that was used for teaching. It is not fact or documentary. This book throws science out the window and replaces it with fiction.

Be very choosy about books. Don't buy this one.

Summary: What a false piece of garbage.
Review: This is a terrible book that paints scientists as vicious hoaxers who want nothing but to spread misinformation. There are no facts from either scientific or religious sources to back up any of the outrageous claims that Mr. Taylor -- a man who obviously has no expierence or knowledge of dinosaurs, biology, geology, evolution, history, or Christianity -- presents here. He looks pretty deep to find things to fit into his pre-existing ideas, takes scientific findings and statements out of context, and even just makes things up.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Much needed information for our confused, scientific age.
Review: When one criticizes this book it is no doubt because they don't understand that many Christian children are being fed disinformation in school, on tv and in movies. The book clearly explains (and proves) that dinosaurs did indeed exist after the flood and were not unknown to the writers of the Bible. It is not a book per se about evolution, but works well as a companion to the subject. Once we realize that dinosaurs are not as old as we're often told, the theory of macro-evolution is shown to be just that--- a theory, with no secure basis in factual history. I have owned a copy of this book since 1989 and frequently use it as a teaching aid, its bountiful illustrations rivet children's attention. But it is also useful for teens and adults who question the historic accuracy of the Sacred Scriptures.
