Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Most interesting book on snakes I've ever read
Review: I couldn't put it down -- it was the most interesting book I've ever read on snakes (and I've read over 20) and maybe the most interesting book I've read on any pets -- there's no indication that the author has any first-hand knowledge of snakes but it makes it so much more interesting since she seemed to have talked to a lot of people and read a lot of books and gives people the best of it and it's all written in a light fun style that makes it hard to put down if you are interested in snakes.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: funny and intelligent
Review: I didn't realize how fascinating snakes can be until I picked up this book. It's full of interesting information about snakes and lizards. I wish other books about animals were written this way because this one is so educational, but it's also entertaining.

Summary: Entertaining
Review: I found this book entertaining, and somewhat useful. It's full of fun little facts, but a lot of common sense information. As far as being helpful, it would be so only for a novice. This is obviously not a how to book on keeping snakes, but provides some tips and tricks on their care. For detailed care of snakes, I fully recommend anything published by Advanced Vivarium Systems.
