Rating: Summary: Funny and Informative Review: "302 Ways, Advanced techniques..." is a thoroughly informative and humorous book. It has helped spice up my husband's and my sex life with practical tips and techniques. Reading it together has been a loads of fun. Thank you again Olivia St. Claire!
Rating: Summary: disappointing Review: I loved Olivia St. Claire's first two books. "203 ways to drive a man wild in bed", and its successor, "Unleashing the sex goddess within", were both groundbreaking. "203" taught women that sexy is in the mind, and "sex goddess" connected them to the eternal feminine mystery of women's sexuality. This new book, however, hasn't much that's novel to say. The philosophy is the same, and I've seen most of the tips she gives in this one in her other books or other people's books. However, it is very erotically written and if you haven't read her first two books, you might enjoy it greatly. Fans of her previous work (like me) will probably be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Groundbreaking yet easy Review: I loved Olivia's first two books because they're fun, sexy, and so easy to dip into when you need a quick tip or some inspiration. This new book is packed with completely new and wild suggestions for a sexy, romantic, or daring erotic encounter. And I really liked all the boxes with extra tips and hints, like The Art of the Quickie (which shows you how to make it hot and enjoyable for BOTH of you). It has lots more variety, novelty, and pure eroticism than most other sex books I've seen. Just reading it make me tingle!
Rating: Summary: Playful and Wildly Sexy Techniques Review: It is up to us, then, as keepers of the mysteries of love, to initiate our men into the secrets of their own sensuality, and to train them in the arts of romance, foreplay, and deeply erotic lovemaking. ~Olivia St. Claire
Olivia St. Claire's writing is sensual and after reading "227 Ways to Unleash the Sex Goddess Within," I was looking forward to reading additional selections. I'd advise reading the first book before this book or ordering them at the same time.
It only took me a few years to get to another book and her books are so filled with ideas that it might take ten years to try them all. Of course, you might want to take a hot pink highlighter and go through her book once to read the details and then make yourself a list of "sexy things to try in the near future." This is a book you can read over and over again and never get bored!
While I love Olivia's writing, I have to say that this book does have a few more extreme methods. Olivia presents herself as a cunning cat willing to devour the lover of her dreams with such passion, I think any man would think he had left earth and headed straight for paradise. Her methods are highly appealing to men and women might find themselves shocked by the results. I tried a few techniques on my husband and without revealing too many details, he was pleasantly surprised.
Olivia's Goddess book was the sexiest book I had ever read back in 2002 and this book is a close second. While she can at times revel in the extreme, I think you will find at least 20 ideas that you can immediately incorporate into your lovemaking information repertoire.
The cover looks like petal pink satin sheets and there is a removable outer red cover that is shown here. You could read this book in public and no one would know.
If you are a woman who enjoys pleasuring her lover, then this book is going to make you feel confident, sexy and it will make your man desire your attentions even more than ever before. He may even ask for a repeat of various techniques or at least hint at your new level of sexual confidence. By reading books about sex and relationships, you can encourage your inner goddess to be a bit more interested in reaching her full potential.
Every woman has an Inner Sex Goddess. She lives in your heart, your body, and your senses... Your Inner Sex Goddess is the one who bought this book and who tingles with anticipation at the thought of becoming, at last, her most gloriously seductive self. ~pg. 2 of 227 Ways to Unleash the Sex Goddess
Basically, this book is about learning to be comfortable with being sexy. It is about learning to appreciate your lover's body and the beauty of life around you. Through Olivia's thoughts, you come to see how you can weave romance, love and sex into a magical art form.
The Chapters Include:
The Love Trance - Olivia delves into her own love life and starts to tell a story about a sexy foot massage. There is an idea all in itself. Her writing draws you into the next chapter and the next as she explores passion triggers and shows you how to draw on your earthiest instincts.
The Art of Seduction - With phrases like "incandescent air of sensuality" and stories of becoming the tigress of your man's dreams, Olivia explains how you can appear magical to your man through simple postures, ways you move your body and a change in attitude.
The Games of Love - A discussion about locations such as showers, car washes and um, after reading this chapter, I did have more thoughts about car washes than the foamy violet, turquoise and lime triple shine dripping down the windows. If you have seen High Fidelity, that explains it. A list of erotic games have some highly romantic ideas. A discussion about costumes and the reasons lavender and black licorice may be useful conclude the chapter.
The Holy Harlot - Ancient and mysterious facts mingle with a new awareness of current sexuality. Olivia makes a good point about women reclaiming their own pleasure. Providing pleasure also includes showing your own ecstasy.
How did you get in that position? - An interesting section on "better sex through technology" which has nothing to do with anything you have to purchase.
Worship - An oral education. If you want to understand what men crave, this is the chapter.
Beyond - Kinda kinky and erotic, but there are a few interesting ideas about kissing.
Secret Erogenous Zones - Most enlightening. While we women know our own erogenous zones, apparently men have specific ones you can tap into for advanced pleasure.
s and mmmm - If I was a guy, I might be in fear of this chapter. lol Although, Olivia does believe in safety. Cat scratches excluded. If you are going to indulge in love marks, you might have to deal with skin infections. Read this chapter at your own risk.
Rapturous Rituals - I liked her ideas about baths, candles and fluffy pillows. If you want to make your bedroom even more sexy, there are some ideas in this chapter.
Hot Tantra and other Secrets from the Orient - Things I would never of thought of on my own, for sure. If you love fruit or eating in bed, this information could entertain you.
Training Your Man - Olivia turns the table on some traditional thinking.
Another Erotic, Exotic, Intoxicatingly Sexy Book by Olivia. For advanced enjoyment of this book, read while wearing Ylang Ylang III essential oil by Aura Cacia and feast on a ripe mango.
Hide this book from your lover. This is your secret treasure trove of ideas that must only be revealed to him in stages to amuse and amaze.

Rating: Summary: Been There, Done That Review: Maybe I am just naughty, but there is really nothing new here. I could have written a better book. On the other hand, it was nice to see that I know what I am doing without having to read it in a book. :) I guess if you have no passion and no animal instint, get the book.
Rating: Summary: Some good inspiration... Review: While the book provides some really great inspiration and ideas to add to your sexual repertoire, some of the way-too-many synonyms and descriptive words used for male and female anatomy provided not only giggles, but enough adjectives for 8 or 9 romance novels.. Honestly, "Love Rocket, Shivering Member, Celestial Dragon, Healing / Royal Sceptor, Magic Wand, Warrior Weapon, Love Organ, Cobra, Stalk, Untamed Animal..." to list a few.
Definitely a book worth reading and referring back to for those in stagnant relationships needing a sexual boost - or even those new to sexual relationships...
