Summary: John Lee Premenopause Book Very Helpful!
Review: Through on-line research of progesterone & estrogen dominance, I came across this fantastic book by John Lee. This book is quick & easy to read. It's a terrific source for gynecological information. I loved the "recipes" included for various problems. It was very refreshing to find a natural approach to gynecological problems. The book really helped educate me when discussing gyn issues with my doctor. I can honestly say this book has changed my life!

Summary: Natural hormone balance for women 30 to 50...
Review: We dedicated this book to all the women who have taken the time to write, fax and e-mail us to tell us their observations and stories, ask questions and network in every way imaginable. Dr. Lee calls it the women's underground network (women talking to women). It's powerful and inspiring. We have heard repeatedly through Dr. Lee's newsletter and at his seminars that there are many, many PRE menopausal women out there who intuitively know that their health problems are related to hormonal imbalance. This book is for them. We love to hear from you.

Summary: Tone masks lousy science
Review: While the tone of this book is no doubt reassuring to women who feel they have been ignored by their doctors for too long, the content is riddled with bioloical inaccuracy and just plain bad science.

Smart readers will look beyond Lee's nonsense before choosing to self-medicate with these or any other so-called "natural" products - just as they should do when deciding whether to take drugs prescribed by their doctors.

An excellent place to start that investigation:

Summary: Its about time we had some facts
Review: You don't have to agree with or buy every word in this book, but it presents factual information to allow all of us, whether in the 30 to 50 age range or on either side of it, to make informed clear choices. I've already changed my diet and vitamin choices, and feel better as a result. If you are interested in learning about your own body and health, this is an important book for your reference library.
