Rating: Summary: It is great to see this change. Review: If you have read most other marijuana books then you can boil them down to two categories. There are writers who write about marijuana and writers who write and grow marijuana. We have seen a barrage of books from pot magazine editors and columnists to help fill our shelves. What we do not have are many good marijuana books written by growers so this is why it is good to see this change. I like it when a writer tries to develop a book with growers in mind and not just marijuana enthusiasts. This is a very grower orientated book and would be my first preference for marijuana growing information. This is not to say that marijuana enthusiasts can not learn from it. There is a section of legal stuff at the back. My only critic about this book is that the history of cannabis is only given two pages. I guess there is nothing wrong with that because the book is mostly about growing but that still could have been in there.
Rating: Summary: Loads of bud made easy. Review: If you want to grow 2 ounce top colas in less than 4 months from seed in one foot square of grow space then this is the book that does just that. Got 16 feet -- 4 feet X 4 feet -- of grow space? Want to produce 32 ounces of dry weight bud in that space? Then read this book. From the initial few pages the Cannabis Grow Bible almost dives directly into cultivation standards that produce high yields at a low cost. Forget about smoking little packets of bud that grow on lengthy weeds which you obtained from some bag seed. Just stick to what this books outlines in its chapters and you will have the reference manual of a lifetime including the best hashish extraction techniques available. The initial four chapters covers cannabis history, where to gets seeds, how to start seedlings and how to prepare your grow for soil or hydroponics, indoors or outdoors. Overgrow the government and avoid the street dealer by using this book. Apply it and you will get something out of it.

Rating: Summary: Dr. Cannabis Review: No other book on this subject is even a fraction as good as this one. I love to read books and Cannabis just happens to be one of my favorite topics so I was very happy when I received this book in the post. When I flicked through it I can tell you that I was anything but disappointed. This is a whooper of a read, full of illustrations, charts and a great color section (even has a color hash making procedure section). It is certainly the best book on the topic of cannabis biology and cannabis cultivation ever written... and that says a lot. I have also had the pleasure of being able to chat and talk with some other marijuana book authors, visited the festivals and have spent time with many grow rooms conversing with growers. Other growers with experience growing lots of strains will tell you the same thing as I will now. THIS BOOK IS THE ONE. The Cannabis Grow Bible is sound advice for the novice and experienced grower. If you have read other books, and magazines, in this genre, then do not think for a second that you have read it all or will just get a rehash of material. This book contains virtually new information from the start to the end. As someone who has worked on several species of cannabis, in several strain forms, using several variations in hydroponic and soil systems, this book provided me with new information on several plant care techniques, several ways to improve the bounty and several ways to have my friends put a grin on their face from ear to ear. The book is LOADED with new information. Newbie's START HERE. Experienced growers LEARN MORE HERE. This is a landmark book for cannabis cultivators that goes against the vast majority of information that you will find in other publications that seem to have been written right of the back of each other in succession. This author did the work, did the research, came up with a valid book on the subject and surprised us with a publication that is professionally orientated to suite most conceivable growing scenarios. This book is very different to other grow books. It does not even read or look like other marijuana books. The concepts are different, expanded, corrected and explained with procedures and techniques described in detail. You need this information for better potency and yields. It is important for quality produce. If you want a book for the twenty-first century that does it differently, better and looks it!, then all you need to do is spend a couple of ten dollar bills on the best book in this genre and draw your own conclusions. Better still walk into a head shop and flick through books in this genre. You will see that this book is not self published and reads as if it has been worked on for a 'Masters in Botany'. The bottom line in all of this is that this is the book that will set the standards. Apply it and see. I could list everything that this book provides you with but you would be better looking at the full table of contents here -> www.cannabisbook.com/contents.htm This is an extremely important purchase if you want to save time and money and learn things the right way. There is a vast difference between putting seeds in the ground, getting average potent stringy plants and choosing the right genetics for packing on the lbs of bud per plant. If you want to do it right then this is the book to get. It doesn't matter if you want to grow a field of bud, a 500 m2 indoor garden, a full scale basement grow, a simple greenhouse or cabinet growing for one to twenty plants... you will find EVERYTHING here. By all means read other books on this topic but if you are only going to get and read one book on the topic of cannabis cultivation then get this one. This is probably the most easily readable and understandable book in the genre (none of the material clashes which is a FIRST for any book of its type) which also contains a vast amount of advanced material. This book will keep you going for decades to come. I have already followed many of the instructions and examples in this book to take my grow to the next level. All stoners should get this book and avoid the street dealer.
Rating: Summary: in a nutshell,,, Review: or should we say seedshell,,, largest cannabis grow book over 250 pictures completely authoritative and tested professional quality learn how to grow a minimum of 1oz per plant read how the real growers get it right a 21st century grow book the professional cannabis grow book of choice.
Rating: Summary: If only stoners could Review: Popping this review in because I saw it in my friend house. It cracks me up to think that stoners could get up from their backsides to grow. If you are a stoner who can do that then go for it. It is fxxkxng planet sized book. I dont know if stoners would do this but if they did we would have much better blow for it. Ban MEX BRICKWEED and give us some skunk. Oh it is banned already. They should make this stuff legal though. Anyway it is a planet sized book about growing. Makes my school biology book look stupid if that means anything. They should teach this instead. I am sure we would learn lots more if they did. More intresting if you ask me.
Rating: Summary: the best damn pot book period Review: review by yellowdamellow www.overgrow.com This book is a comprehensive growing guide for both beginners and those more experienced. I cannot express how much it not only teaches me, but also inspires me. A couple of contributers to the book like Older Bushy Grower and Strawdawg I hold in great esteem. I wouldn't be writing this review if not for Straw in fact. I highly reccomend this book to anybody who wants to get the most out of their plants. It's worht every penny. Peace YellowDaMellow
Rating: Summary: Confusing and lacks editing Review: Some parts make no sense at all as you read through this book. In one sentence in the book Green says not to remove the fan leaves and three sentences later he says to remove them. This is very confusing and shows a lack of editing. Growing errors are littered in this book making it frustrating to read.
Rating: Summary: A massive improvement on any cannabis grow book out there. Review: The Cannabis Grow Bible by Greg Green is the first MUST READ book for any cannabis smoker/grower/breeder/enthusiast. Where other books have failed this book has achieved. On first view I thought the book was a little bit too big for a beginner to consume but after reading the first three chapters I was delighted to find that this was more than just your average grow guide. What Greg Green has done is to mix good growing information along with good growing advice while explaining the cannabis plants life cycle in over twenty healthy and highly illustrated chapters... The SOG and ScrOG systems look amazing and are highly understandable for the first time in the history of any cannabis grow book! This is why the book is a must read for anybody. I have never seen another grow book come even close to revealing some of the most important facts in cannabis production... Overall a stunning read and a massive improvement on ANY cannabis grow book out there. Write on Greg Green!
