Review: Johnny Johnston is an amazing photographer. I purchased the book expecting to see more quality for the price of $45.00. Don't get me wrong, the photos in the book are beautiful.. Especially, the cover of *Padron and back flap of *Bask. However, I know JJ has thousands of more interesting and beautiful photographs from his collection. I do not think there is enough value in the price.

Review: This book contains a fantastic collection of photographs that truly capture the beauty, fire and grace of the Arabian horse. The stunning photographs and text combine to give the reader a real sense of the magical relationship between this special breed of horse and humanity. Anyone who has ever loved a horse or has been captured by the spirit that is equus will want to own this cover to cover work of art.

Review: THIS BOOK HAS BY FAR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PICTURES OF ARABIANS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ONE BOOK. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED JOHNNY JOHNSTON'S WORK IN PHOTOGRAPHING THE ARABIAN AND HAVE ARABIAN MAGAZINES DATING BACK TO 1977 THAT ALL HAVE HIS WORK IN THEM. HE TRULY CAPTURES THE "SPIRIT AND BEAUTY" OF THE ARABIAN HORSE IN HIS WORK. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE SECOND BOOK BE A MAJOR TRIBUTE TO KHEMOSABI,IN SOME WAY, AS HE HAS BEEN MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ARABIAN FOR MANY YEARS AND THE PICTURE OF KHEMOSABI IN THIS BOOK IS BY FAR THE MOST GORGEOUS ONE I HAVE EVER SEEN. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK TO JOHNNY JOHNSTON AND THE AUTHOR, MAGGIE NICOL AND I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE SECOND BOOK.

Review: This book is a feast for the eyes! If you love Arabians, horses, or just great photography, this book is a must-have! This is the greatest Arabian photographer of all time, and this book shows just how much he is capable of. Thank you to Maggie Nicol, Johnny Johnston, and all the people and HORSES that brought this book to life. Exquisite!

Review: Visually breathtaking book. Johnny Johnston is one of the all time great horse photographers. For those of us who own and love Arabians, most will agree he can capture the true essence of a horse again and again. The cover photograph of the magnificent stallion *Padron remains one of my favorite horses photographs. If you love beauty, and especially appreciate beautiful horses, you MUST have this book!
